Goats are shrinking because of climate change, researchers warn

They appear to be shrinking in size as they react to changes in climate, according to new research from Durham University.
The researchers studied the impacts of changes in temperature on the body size of Alpine Chamois, a species of mountain goat, over the past 30 years.
To their surprise, they discovered that young Chamois now weigh about 25 per cent less than animals of the same age in the 1980s.
In recent years, decreases in body size have been identified in a variety of animal species, and have frequently been linked to the changing climate.
However, the researchers say the decline in size of Chamois observed in this study is striking in its speed and magnitude.
The research, funded by the Natural Environment Research Council is published in the journal Frontiers in Zoology.

The climate hasn’t changed in nearly 20 years, how could no change have had an effect on goat size? and why would we care? OMG! It's the new fear accelerated, man made globull mutations! Wait a dang minute, man has been causing genetic changes in animals ever since moving from hunter/gatherer to farmer/herdsman! All fear the new bogeyman, man made globull genetic change!

Goats getting smaller in UK because:
1. More hedgerows destroyed for crop growing so less bio-diversity natural foods for the goats.
2.Farmers can't afford best quality foods.
3.Corn feeds tainted with genetically modified strains
4.Low cost foods from China many are contaminated with toxic chemicals.
5. Farm situated near wind power generators (reported from a Goat farm in Germany that the goats were disturbed by the noise and moving shadows of the blades).
Meanwhile, in California happy goats go surfing:

The climate hasn’t changed in nearly 20 years, how could no change have had an effect on goat size? Goats are very sensitive and intelligent creatures. They are reacting to Climate Models not actual temperatures which right wing weather systems stubbornly cling to.
