Police have now confirmed there has been a third shooting at the Rideau Centre shopping mall near to the Parliament building.
Armed officers were rushing towards the scene with guns drawn.
The shootings came amid heightened concern about terrorist attacks in Canada, two days after a Muslim convert, a radical jihadist, ran over two soldiers at a suburban Montreal strip mall, killing one of them.
Now that some jihadis have shot up the CANADIAN WAR MEMORIAL, I wonder if someone can tell me if the guards at OUR TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN at Arlington are carrying LOADED WEAPONS or would that make too much sense?
As we all know, the geniuses at the other end of the Mall (the Capitol) inhabit a very safe and well guarded armed camp.
Yes, and that has been part of the story since the first reports. Strange that there have been no reports about any people being wounded or killed since, with all the reports of shots being fired in several locations and multiple shooters.
Hope we don't have a major atrocity taking place.

I’ve already seen a comment on another site that Canada’s gun laws are ok ,but AMERICAN gun laws allow them to be smuggled in. So it’s our fault .... as usual.
With all due respect, Canada’s 9-11 was 9-11, I believe we lost several dozen of our fellow citizens in that attack.
That being said, this is a wake up call to the class of useful idiots in Canada who underestimated the reach of the global jihad and thought we might have some magic immunity pill called tolerance.
How long this is tolerated will be very brief, I would imagine, but bear in mind that the sane half of Canadian public opinion (we have the same split that you do, and may I point out, a saner government at this point) knew already that this was quite possible. A few days ago, there was a smaller one-man suicide attack in Quebec on uniformed members of the Armed Forces. So the country has been expecting this sort of thing, and it would appear from actions taken in the lobby of the Parliament buildings that security was ready for the threat.
But our 9-11? I think that’s an overstatement, more like our Fort Hood perhaps.
Time to start arresting Tea Party members. /yes, sarcasm
