Reports coming in from Canada of shooting at the Library of Parliament. One shooter reported captured. Unconfirmed reports of one dead. Police looking for more shooters, but not sure if more.

CIA analyst on Fox just said, there is no doubt this is a planned terrorist attack by jihadists. He said forget about home grown, this is ISIS, not a random attack but planned by ISIS. Ottawa was chosen because of its relaxed atmosphere.

radio station gives good reporting...campus in lockdown too....announcer saying ‘Ottowa lost it’s innocence today....’country will not see itself as before, this has changed everything...
Prime Minister to speak this afternoon.
American Embassy in lock down.
No one allowed into military bases.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is understood to have cancelled his public events for the day, including a meeting with Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, who is in Toronto to receive honorary Canadian citizenship. Mr Harper is due to make a statement later today.
