In May, Monica Lewinsky vowed to speak out in order "to stick my head above the parapet so that I can take back my narrative and give a purpose to my past."
Now she seems to be doing just that -- on Twitter.
Just months after Lewinsky’s personal revelations were made public in a Vanity Fair interview, she sent her first tweet this morning.

I often answer “LA Confidential” to that question. But sometimes I think Star Wars (EP 4). If either of them comes on tv, I usually watch even though I’ve seen them 100 times.

Raging Bull (another DeNiro/Scorsese collaboration) may be the greatest American movie ever made.
Layer Cake stars a pre-James Bond Daniel Craig. Excellent flick.

Freepers still ridicule monica. Just look at this thread. She made some really bad mistakes. But her own behavior for the last decade was to live a private life. These so called “social conservatives” following their religions just can’t resist still slamming her with their jokes. I love dirty jokes, freepers, but she has a point.
Imagine your daughter made a mistake at 22. Not as bad as sleeping with a president - but imagine she was in love with a guy who lied to her and posted a pic of her online and she got a bad reputation, happens every day. Now, 10 years later, do you want people still to refer to your daughter as a whore?
Especially if your daughter now is putting her story forward to help victims of online bullying and mocking? Kids have died or had their lives ruined by this. It’s not ok and she has a point. You’re not allowed to keep calling her a humidor just because you’re a conservative. Raise your standards and be decent like you would want for your family.
