It is clear that this is no longer an outbreak of Ebola, it's a breakout of Ebola. We are now living in a post-containment world. Fortunately, this virus has vulnerabilities, and we can quickly improve our immune defense.
When the protective suits and procedures fail to keep Ebola at arm's length, it becomes a fight between the organism and the defense. As there is no vaccine and there are no Ebola-specific drugs, it's time to help Americans understand what can be done.
We have two types of immune defense: adaptive defense, which allows us to utilize preformed antibodies and anti-viral killer cells, and innate defense, which allows us to fight a microorganism we have never encountered. Both defenses are highly dependent upon the availability of vitamin D3. Once summer ends, the levels of D3 begin the seasonal decline and we experience a dramatic increase in viral diseases.
As many patients have learned, measuring and increasing the blood levels of vitamin D3 (25-OH vitamin D) can significantly reduce the incidence and severity of the cold and flu viruses. Unlike those seasonal viruses, we have had no prior Ebola infections, and the ongoing research into Ebola vaccines appears to be a future possibility, but not a current reality. Ebola is one of the enveloped viruses, which are highly vulnerable to cathelicidin. Vitamin D3 up regulates the production of cathelicidin and is central to any strategy seeking to upgrade viral immune system defense.
The formal name for Ebola is Ebola hemorrhagic fever. With fever being the early symptom, the hemorrhage is the late-stage sign that the patient can no longer resist and the immune system capitulates. These terminal signs include the failure of multiple organ systems and widespread, uncontrollable hemorrhage from multiple sites....

Somehow I don’t think vitamin C and D3 are going to get rid of Ebola. I’m betting on nicotine, and stocking up my humidor.:)
I think that might actually help. Somebody here made the point that Ebola causes the body to use up it’s storage of vitamin C, including collagen. Consequently, when the body does this, there is nothing holding it together resulting in a cellular soup held together by the skin.
I’m not sure that eating lots of fruits and vegetables and glugging down gallons of orange juice will ward off ebola. Especially if you don’t have scurvy to begin with.
Can’t hurt but, the real reason people die from thus disease are:
.
1. Dehydration
.
2. Flu like symptoms of the lungs
.
3. Hemorrhagic effects of dehydration
We are very capable of dealing with the 1st two
Maybe, but they could definitely be helped by a travel ban.
I think the FDA issued some warnings about Vitamin C. In other words, it must be good stuff...

Racist American calls Ebola patients a bunch of scurvy dogs ...
I think people who have been around bees, had 4 bee stings a year, eat food that has been exposed to roaches, silverfish, and people who every day are exposed to measles, mumps, chicken pox, whopping cough, and colds, THESE people don´t have A/C ....how many HOMELESS people are going to get diseases. NONE. Their defenses are HIGH. I think America has been living in a sterile bubble, and even a slight cough ruins them.
Please forward any questions you have to the CZAR!
I’ve loved eating raw lemons my whole life. While I may have a few more visits to the dentist here or there, I have been only been sick with cold or flu like symptoms a handful of times in my life.
This is the Vitamin c that I take. Many people say that the extra citrus bioflavonoids are a lot better than just plain C.
I take two 81 mg baby aspirins a day and have not contracted Ebola. So I’ll continue to take the aspirin to prevent the disease.
Actually people die of multi organ failure likely caused by DIC (disseminated intravascular coagulation). This leads to clotting and bleeding all at the sane time and us devastating. If it were simple dehydration no one would die in even a semi modern hospital. But whn lungs liver kidneys brain etc all stop working nithing can stop that train
Give them marijuana, it cures everything and you can make clothes from the unsmoked stems
Yikes. Sorry for misspellings. Screen on iPhone just not great for typing
That's only one data point. Impossible to draw any conclusions from one data point.
On the other hand, I also take 81 mg baby aspirin daily and I also have not contracted Ebola. That's double the data points!
We're on a roll.
I think beer and a positive attitude should do it.
Sort of like what Obama wants to do with our country.
