I argue with some on here constantly on these points and the fact they decided to “protest” by not voting. I then thank them for voting odumbo in office. They do not like this.

The biggest problem the Republican Party has in terms of credibility with conservative voters is that their track record is too recent. The last time we had a Republican in the White House and Republican control of both Houses of Congress we got things like the Homeland Security Dept., the Patriot Act, a new Medicare prescription drug entitlement, and massive increases in Federal spending (the Federal budget grew by something like 58% just in the eight years of the Bush administration).
Forget about Republicans opposing a Democratic agenda. What is the purposes of electing Republicans if they actually IMPLEMENT a Democratic agenda?
