What a sheltered world I lived in! Never heard that one - I always thought it was just about separation.
Jim Croce, IMO, was one of the real greats - "I Have A Name" among others. I thought he raised the level, if you will. Sad to lose him - he had much more to contribute.

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

“That exposure led to other sessions, and bigger artist, including Dean Martin, Lou Rawls, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra.”
From the same TV show that I mentioned above, Glen Campbell told Johnny Carson the story of the first time he sat as a session musician for Frank Sinatra.
He said that he sat there playing and was in awe of Sinatra so that he played while he just kept looking at Sinatra. After the session Sinatra told the band leader, “Get rid of the ‘fag’ guitarist! Every time I think of that story I laugh! ;-)

I'm a Libra with Sagittarius rising. "Would you like to see my Sagittarius rise?" was not a pickup line I ever used.

#6 Michael Jackson: BenStephen Gilbert wrote a short story titled Ratmans Notebooks, which became the basis for the film Willard. Ben was the rat, and Michael Jackson sang this little love song to the rodent.

An astrologer casts a chart for the first breath, so labor doesn't count. Korean astrology, however, uses the moment of conception, but how they figure that out is beyond me.
FReepmail me your birth date, time and location, and I'll tell you what your rising sign is.

That’s only part of the story of the “Stranger’s In The Night” session. Glen was one of four guitarists on the session and he said he was the only one in the entire orchestra not wearing a suit. The Sinatra quote indeed happened, but after the session Glen said that Frank came over to him and stuffed a wad of Bills into his pocket and invited him for dinner at his Palm Springs estate. Later Glen was called for the “Somethin’ Stupid” sessions and he often worked with Frank’s daughter Nancy.

I'm doing great, thanks, Kathy - and I did of course Sally Forth today - I got into the Office so early the parking garage was not yet open - I parked in a garage across the street that opens at 0630 - also much cheaper and they Valet Park the van.
The commutes this week, other than today, have been brutal. We're coming to the time of year here when the commutes get really punishing. In the next several weeks the morning temps will dip below freezing. When that happens, it's anarchy on the way in.
Nothing has changed here in the Federalplex - lots of out of town amateurs who don't know how to drive in the snow or ice. It's just pitiful. :)

My computer has been acting up - we had a power outage last night - one of our set top boxes is down. I hope the computer hasn't been damaged.

“I hope the computer hasn’t been damaged.”
Most temporary power outages get to the computer through the telephone and/or cable line.
If you can afford it, battery backups have outlets to protect against power outages through the power line, telephone line and cable line.
I have never had damage and we get a lot of thunderstorms here.
