M.F. Jones should only be printed here as a joke. Not for serious content.

The single biggest root cause is the ACLU. They threatened Regan and he began the release of the loon’s from the looney bin.

There are plenty of others and the bulk point back to the liberals.

Hell, Obama is trying to kill us all in the latest Ebola crisis. The libs are the embodiment of the devil himself.

The government needs to confiscate the guns so that the public will “voluntarily” go to the Ebola treatment centers.

It’s for your own good.

The question asked: “Is that true?”

I don’t believe it but does anyone have a verifiable answer to the question??

Silly lefties. Like Dan Rather and non-Democrats, anything they say about the right to keep and bear firearms is negative.
Arming America: The Origins of a National Gun Culture is a discredited 2000 book by Michael A. Bellesiles on American gun culture. The book is an expansion of a 1996 Journal of American History article that uses falsified research to argue that guns were uncommon during peacetime in early United States and that a culture of gun ownership arose only much later.

Although there's always the possibility that a media organ which identifies itself as liberal or leftist could be right about something, their word can never be taken at face value. The left lies about everything from crime statistics, to rape on campi, to hunger in the U.S., to violence of Super Bowl sunday, to women not paid as much as men for the same job....you get the picture. There's a lot more.

They have spread so many lies and falsehoods, they simply cannot be trusted to tell the truth about anything. And since Mother Jones is the mother of all lying leftist publications, its word should be doubted automatically.

An oddly self-biasing question.

The very term “mass shooting” inherently rejects any situation which would have been except for the would-be mass-shooter being stopped before casualties reached the “mass” stage.

Could be true but I’ll bet they don’t look into how many were perpetrated by lefties.

More Muslims = more killings.

Put a Muslim in the White House = de facto support of Muslim terrorists.

Is it true? It could be. If you allow me to choose the base starting period of the comparison, I can make any comparison say anything I want. For example, let’s say that ten people are killed today. . . and five were killed yesterday. . . but fifteen were killed last week. If I limit the starting period to the day before yesterday, I can truthfully say that the MURDER RATE HAS DOUBLED IN THE PAST TWO DAYS! simply by ignoring what went before a week ago.

Back in the 80s the Liberal media used this technique to try and erase the Reagan gains by setting the starting year they were comparing the growth to well before the Carter losses. . . 1976. This had the effect of making the phenomenal Reagan growth rates look anemic. Had they instead used the base year of 1982, when his policies first started taking effect, the growth rates were astounding.

So, using 2011 as a base... a year that was extremely LOW in mass murdering maniacs. . . gives them the way to totally distort the admittedly too many that occurred in 2012-2014 as a large increase. But had they used 1990, not so much.
