He is an attorney, after all.
You watch it, you support it.
Maybe there’s more he wants to tell us...
He’s an idiot.
Its a depraved person who takes pleasure out of watching the exploitation of a child.
John Grisham is scum for defending them.
This is exactly how Democrats think today. “Minor destruction of life is better than full destruction as long as I look cool and hip”
Burn in hell John.
His logic is insane. Adults look at child porn in the first place, why?
After an uproar began, Grisham issued an apology.
“Anyone who harms a child for profit or pleasure, or who in any way participates in child pornography — online or otherwise — should be punished to the fullest extent of the law,” the author said in a statement. “My comments made two days ago during an interview with the British newspaper The Telegraph were in no way intended to show sympathy for those convicted of sex crimes, especially the sexual molestation of children. I can think of nothing more despicable. I regret having made these comments, and apologize to all.”
Bought my last Grisham novel, that’s for sure.
If people didn’t watch it, no one would exploit children to produce it. Those that watch it belong in jail as they are contributing to these children being exploited.
640 KFI am radio played the audio today. He is trying to justify it because a friend who is 60! was looking at child porn and spent 3 years in prison for it.
I believe these are the federal numbers.. something around 215,000 if I understand these Federal Bureau of Prisons data. I have not found the very latest numbers for state and local yet.

He's going to have to do better than "so many of these guys" before I come close to buying it. Most of the cases I've read about in the press aren't drunk 60-year-olds caught by sting operations, they're people who have thousands of pictures that are clearly not borderline teens, clearly show the abuse of young children, and who tend to be trading or trafficking in same. That's a completely different thing. If someone pays someone for child pornography he's paying that individual to abuse children, or to pay someone else to do so. That isn't guilt-free, and it isn't victimless.
Contestant #3: Who was John Grisham?
Typical out of touch idiot, I don’t care if he is a lawyer he is wrong those that are in prison are there for their crimes. This is like saying Hitler was not wrong because he also killed gypsies and others besides Jews.
Through my involvement in helping victims find freedom, I have realized that any man minimizing the impact of child porn or child molestation is a man to watch carefully. Also any man who starts splitting hairs over definitions related to these issues.
John Grisham apologizes after troubling statements about child porn
And now we know the truth about Grisham....
He has revealed his deepest secret. A bit Freudian don’t ya think?
He’s right. Some are cops looking for pedophiles.
I am starting to miss the harsh treatment Moses exacted on those animals.
