Half of all the Democratic women in the U.S. Senate are featured in a new video voicing their support for Kentucky Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes.
The video, released Thursday after first being shown at Grimes event with Hillary Clinton Wednesday evening, shows six women in the U.S. Senate saying Shatter the glass. Break the ceiling. Its time for Alison!
Of the twelve women in the Senate Democratic caucus, U.S. Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND), Patty Murray (D-WA), Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) are shown saying the phrase as well as other women at a campaign rally saying the same thing.
You send us Alison Grimes instead of Mitch McConnell and you change the world, Sen. Warren says, in the video from her visit to Kentucky to campaign with Grimes.
In a press release attached to the ad, the Grimes campaign said that it is the women of the U.S. Senate coming together to pass commonsense measures, adding that Grimes will join them in the effort when she goes to Washington.

All those women in the senate should prove there is no glass ceiling.
I am so sick of feminists. They can rot.
What, our Michelle not invited. You want no coal industry, I believe all of these women are involved in WAR ON COAL
You would not want to throw an ear of corn in the middle of that group!
“Obama is hated very much here. Has really hurt the coal industry. And McConnell was successful in tying her to him.”
There were various articles here about what her campaign staff said/felt regarding coal - did that get much media attention in Kentucky? I’m hoping a lot of KY’s citizens learned about it.
The, ‘Honorable Senator’, could not be bothered...
In second place:
Give us some Grease, we have the Grimes...
Couldn’t the headline just as well been “Half the democrat women in the senate DON’T support her”.
What are their FR nicks?
And nobody should vote for a black Arab-Muslim girly man if he thinks his only job is to please blacks, Arabs, Muslims and girly men.
Not fair to the characters from Star Wars.....most of them were likeable ;)
