Hopewell, New Jersey - NBC's Chief Medical Correspondent, Dr. Nancy Snyderman, violated her voluntary quarantine when she left her home to go get a sandwich at the Pleasant Grill in Hopewell, New Jersey.
Dr. Snyderman was in Liberia when her cameraman contracted Ebola, which is why her and her team are under quarantine.
Dr. Snyderman issued an apology, but some people are saying she dodged responsibility for her actions and she threw her crew members under the bus.
“While under voluntary quarantine guidelines, which called for our team to avoid public contact for 21 days, members of our group violated those guidelines and understand that our quarantine is now mandatory until 21 days have passed,” Dr. Snyderman's apology read.
Some community members are fuming over her carelessness about this matter.
“It's just so narcissistic and egotistical to put your own little wants, and it's not even something necessary, it's her desire for a sandwich over public health, from someone who has actually been in Liberia and has seen what this disease can do,” Hopewell resident Rosemary Farr said.
Others in the community aren't to bothered by her actions, the restaurant owners next to the Pleasant Grill are just happy she didn't come to their place of business.
“Well she don't come here, so we have no contact with her, so I'm comfortable,” the restaurant owner said....

Why wasn’t she fired??
She’s a doctor and KNOWS what quarantine means. They should have thrown her in jail! She has brought a lot of anger down on NBC and if they were smart, they’d dump her. Then she’d have lots of time to go out for sandwiches.
You notice she refused to take responsibility, she left it anonymous. “Members of our group.” Yeah, Nancy, the only doctor in the group is the one that broke quarantine.
“which is why her and her team are under quarantine.” And this clause shows that Tamara Laine cannot write.
Sorry doesn’t bring people back to good health. Nor will it bring back anyone who could die as a result.
She should be fired.

I think that’s why she “apologized”. Because she was threatened with being fired. Just my opinion. She doesn’t sound sorry.

I noticed the same thing and it infuriated me.
The Peasant Grill should ban her (no soup for you!) and she should suffer the consequences of her actions - fired, lose her license, legal actions, etc. The self appointed elite should not be able to skate away from their actions with a non apology apology.
The rules do not apply to leftist liberals. They only apply to the unwashed conservative non humans who must be exterminated. Thats fascist culture and its here NOW!

I thought it was just arrogant her that violated the quarantine? It was her whole crew?
Are they nuts? A member of her team went into the restaurant. He was under quarantine as well.
I agree she should be jailed, though I’m not sure why any quarantine is “voluntary” with this disease.
Would you want your life dependent on a soul-less media person abiding by a self-imposed quarantine?
