Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins criticized the CDC hours after it was revealed that a second nurse who came into contact with Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital has tested positive for the deadly disease, and that the new patient flew on a commercial flight to Ohio before she was diagnosed.
Jenkins, the chief executive in Dallas County, said he is seeking an order to bar 75 hospital workers who may have come into contact with Duncan, who died of the disease last Wednesday, from taking mass transit. Early Wednesday nurse Amber Joy Vinson tested positive for Ebola, becoming the second nurse who treated Duncan to be diagnosed with the disease that has killed more than 4,000 people in the West African countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
Im not happy about the lack of direction on travel restrictions. If restrictions arent put in place immediately well put them in place on a local level, Jenkins told NBC News.

Jenkins is an idiot that is backpedaling.
And this is the guy who spent time in that hellhole apartment and escorted the family to its secret location . . .all without protective gear
Then went home to his wife and daughter?
That’s rich...what about people who had contact with Thomas Duncan’s immediate family? As in meeting with them in the same apartment that Duncan barfed and who know’s what in...and, drove this family to their new gated home.
Should they be banned?
HECK the dude put his own CHILDREN at risk to prove his asinine point!
He should be thrown in jail for child abuse!
They make quite a couple.
Someone should ask Judge Jenkins about where the took the Ebola family.
And the democrat circular firing squad starts pulling their triggers...sadly the American public has been stuck in the middle.
He doesn't sound as high and mighty now, does he?
Wonder how Jenkins feels about going into the apartment without protect??
Does he now feel like a fool for believing the CDC?
Call the CDC -- ask them about a bio-safety level 4 hemorrhagic virus from darkest Africa. They will say, "Whaaaaa---?"
I saw the news woman interviewing Jenkins. She was probably eighteen inches from his face. I wouldn’t go within 1800 feet of the guy.
I absolutely hope Jenkins gets it but not his family.
Then he can get the cure and hopefully act more responsibly in the future.
Maybe his wife will divorce him
Hey Judge, whatever happened to Duncan’s family who you spirited off to a gated compound? Anybody still alive?
You can bet this fool with the Norman Bates look is worried right now. He was hanging around with people who might be infected. LOL!
Yep. That is ‘he’.
I hope he and his family haven’t been going to church lately
Or him to the office . .or to the gym . . or the bathhouse . .wherever
Common sense seems to be lacking in this clown.
What Jenkins isn’t going to visit them all to shake hands and offer them luxury homes in gated communities?
It must be true that Ebola is hard to spread, because they’re working their rear ends off trying to start a plague that just refuses to explode.
The CDC had to give the nurse with a fever “permission” to travel in a commercial plane, and now can’t figure out how to trace the passengers?!
How about using the credit card records? If I have to show ID to board a plane to prove it’s me, does that not prove they know who me is? Or did that hard drive crash too?
If Obama Hussain and his commizars get their way, 30% of us and our families will be all that is left for them to rule over. Good way to open a war, killing 70% of your enemies as your opening move.
If Ebola truely has a 70% kill rate, I wonder how much worse will be Obola in the end?
