It is absolutely indisputable that if Obama had ceased air travel from West Africa, these two (and soon to be more) people would not have contracted Ebola.

The President couldn’t get the barry-cades up fast enough to close down the national parks and veteran’s memorials during the sequester fight. If only he had acted as fast when American lives were at stake.

I would also throw in there as a prevention - probiotics - for a healthy gut! I’m not saying you can’t get any viruses - but way make it easy for it to take hold. A strong immune system will help one recover than one that is compromised.

Passenger airplanes are the worst environments for spread of influenza. Airborne virus inside cabins almost always give me cold. cough or fever symptoms a day or so later.

If Ebola goes airborne, I think this becomes a major crisis.

I also dread to think about schools and children. As parents we all know how families pick up illnesses by what their children pick up at school.

I am still sitting on the fence on all of this as it could be hyped up or it could be real.

The one thing and many are guilty of it, is walking round aircraft in socks or bare foot on long flights..........do not do this. Those aircraft plane floors are perfect breeding grounds for diseases.

There will undoubtedly be several more positive Ebola diagnosis in the next couple of weeks in Dallas. It will no doubt be contained at some point but it's going to be a scary ride.
As an aside this is not good news for Nancy Snyderman making her breach of quarantine protocol even more egregious.

I saw Freiden (CDC) on Megyn Kelly’s show last night. He thinks it is perfectly fine for these nurses to be in the room with Duncan without face coverings or shoe coverings - just gloves - that’s the protocol he is defending.

The problem occurs when someone gets transmitted in Dallas and then accidentally travels to another city..........thats where the race to quarantine is.......and how many along the way on a greyhound or domestic airline.......The horrendous potential of this virus is understated.
