Elections are a State matter .. there are no 'Federal' elections, only State elections for Federal offices.

And if the nøggers were to try some kind of martial law to try and stop the States holding them, it's a damned good bet that Pandora would get loose.

I don’t think he was. That dawned on me when I read he’d given plasma. I made the error of trusting a media report.

I can't believe how infantile the posts are becoming these days. Must we classify you as a sheltered child who has just now figured this stuff out? Or shall we conclude that you are relating this story because you think the rest of us are a bunch of child-like simpletons who need such "revelations"?

I don't know about the majority of our readers around here, but we were taught to keep our fingers away from our faces in the kindergartens of the 50's, and advised to wash hands frequently...in hot water...with soap! Have the common rules of basic hygiene, and the reasons for following them, been lost to such an extent that in the 21st century we now find ourselves succumbed to reading such juvenile tracts?

Exceptional candidate for today's winner of "The Bleedin' Obvious Award!"

Once in water, the host cell will take in water in an attempt to equalize the osmotic pressure, causing the cells to swell and burst, thus killing the virus.

Prepare large tanks of water in which to drown whoever is infected?

We were in total agreement until this:

       Freiden needs to resign.

I would humbly suggest that Freiden needs to resign  do the honorable thing and go comfort the positives wearing the same garb he's pimping for the nurses.

but that's just me

“It will be hard to have Utopia if all the slave class dies. The head honchos might have to actually do manual labor.”

Using the dark ages as a precedent, there will ALWAYS be minions willing to do your bidding if you pay enough, even in the middle of a plague.

When did they trim away the “and PREVENTION” department of the CDC? Maybe when they fell into the pocket of BigPharm, the prevention department became counter-productive?

They should be shutting all avenues to the disease as a public health protocol. They should be arranging travel for health US care workers to and from the infected regions.

So another-words when you let one fly in, you’re actually going to have to deal with at least three sick people.

Well, just keep flying them in then. /s

Anybody that isn’t scared by this is brain dead! People should be protesting at the white house. Not that that would do a damned thing, but it would be nice to see the American people waking up. I didn’t vote for this bastard in office! That is my only comfort right now!

The Republicans aren't helping matters by keeping quiet. Where are they? The only one I know of who's calling for clamping down on the daily flights from West Africa is Ted Cruz. Maybe I'm not paying attention but it seems there are very few politicians calling for common-sense measures to contain this outbreak before it's too late.

Democrats want to keep the flights going because it would be too close to admitting we can control our own borders, and they certainly don't want to do that! That's where their new generation of low-information voters will come from.

As for the Republicans, they don't want the border shut down either because they're doing the bidding for the US Chamber of Commerce, and they want cheap labor!

Well if she was cavalier enough to break 'observation' and get on an airplane, a football stadium is surely only a matter of degree, ehh ?

This is fast becoming a CF on the scale of the leadup to WWI.

Hope you're well, B .. ** and remain so ** !
