Where is the US Ebola Czar, Dr. Nicole Lurie?
And what has she been up to for the last six years?

You’d be in hiding too, if you were photographed wearing grapes for earrings.

This has to be the most underhanded, incompetent bunch of people I have ever seen! I can deal with stupid, but this is beyond absurd!
They are doing exactly as planned. They are not incompetent.
They prefer that people think they’re incompetent.

Of course, between the fiscal years 2000 and 2004, NIHs budget jumped a whopping 58 percent. HHSs 70,000 workers will spend a total of $958 billion this year, or about $7,789 for every U.S. household. A 2012 report on federal spending including the following nuggets about how NIH spends its supposedly tight funds:
- a $702,558 grant for the study of the impact of televisions and gas generators on villages in Vietnam.
- $175,587 to the University of Kentucky to study the impact of cocaine on the sex drive of Japanese quail.
- $55,382 to study hookah smoking in Jordan.
- $592,527 to study why chimpanzees throw objects.
Last year there were news reports about a $509,840 grant from NIH to pay for a study that will send text messages in gay lingo to meth-heads. There are many other shake-your-head examples of misguided spending that are easy to find.

Obama’s Ebola czar is probably quarantined with Ebola symptoms.

Not being all powerful does not excuse gross incompetence.
Interesting recurring Leftist rhetoric: when called on incompetence, objects against imputed demands for total perfection - which was, of course, NOT what was called out.
No, Leftists, it does NOT take an all-powerful government to have competence when crisis strikes. With years of planning and billions of dollars to prepare for the long-predicted outbreak of worst-case diseases like Ebola, we DO expect basic competence unto immediately isolating the exposed and decontaminating the areas involved, NOT just telling close live-in family members “don’t go out” and leaving contaminated items in place for mundane cleanup (say, with a power sprayer ... how IS that sandaled woman doing? anyone watching her symptoms?). If that can’t be done, then funding should be cut off as it’s sure not going anywhere.

Well, well. Corruption in big government. I am shocked, I tell you, simply shocked.
We are soooo much better than those West Africans, with all their corrupted governments and money funneling...
Pffft.
Do I even need a < sarc > tag?

Thanks for the ping. Looks like our government might not help us much. Maybe Firestone will save us.
