If there’s a way for Republicans to fumble the football, they will find a way.

There is no chance the GOP will “fumble” this football ... This is about statistics and the rule of large numbers (or voters).

I have a similar feeling as you do about this...

I actually think this will happen, but nothing will actually change, or be done (correctively) with the country...

The republicans that are elected are too cowardly while in a majority, and feckless as a minority...

Damned if we do, and damned if we don’t...

Let’s not forget Hawaii , where Republican Cam Cavasso is sure to pick off little Brian Schatz

And after winning the Senate, what will the GOP do with it?

Not much. But maybe a president Cruz can put some fire under them in 2017 and beyond.

There is a damn good reason Democrats are refusing to state who they voted for in the Presidential elections of 2008 and 2012.

BHO2 Administration has really screwed things up!

You have more confidence in them than I do. Nate Silver estimates that the Republicans have a 59% chance of taking over the Senate. His track record is pretty good. 59% is not that great considering all the advantages they should have in this nonpresidential-year election.

Anyone who admits voting for him, should be alienated from
their peers and neighbors. I am at the point, most democrats are not only stupid cultists but mean human beings.

I will be voting this election like in every other. I will probably vote straight ticket republican like most other elections. That said, I will do so holding my nose. The republicans, in practice, are only marginally better than most democrats.

That's right folks, it's in the bag. No need to vote or get others out to the polls. It's a sure thing.

Meanwhile the DNC is pouring millions into crucial Senate races as Obama fund-raises constantly. I live in an important district in CA where Santa Monica socialist carpetbagger Julia Brownley is literally destroying home town Republican Jeff Gorell with the nastiest negative ad blitz I've seen in years. Sadly the underfinanced Gorell people appear to be naïve and are just now realizing, with absentee ballots already out, they're being rolled. When will Republicans ever learn that their opponents are no-holds-barred knife-fighters?

The Washington Post is just trying to rally the troops. I’ll believe it when I see it.
