The sooner the better. We’re better off without the Huckster.

Really? So you’re fine with Jeb, Mitt, Christie, Paul or whoever else Rove says will be the nominee?

C'mon. Stating the opinion that we're better off without the Huckster (I agree), does not mean anything of the sort that you imply above. Ever heard of Ted Cruz?

If there a are lot of conservative candidates, the conservative vote will be split and the RINO will win. That happened during the last two presidential elections. Sometimes it was even deliberate (the the Fred Thompson candidacy comes to mind).
In addition the Huckster is a pretty marginal “conservative” at best. He won’t be missed.
I like almost anybody better than Obama, but the sad fact is, unless we elect a truly wild-eyed conservative, the ‘Pubbie won’t try to undo the damage Obama is done. Obamacare will stand along with all other crap he has dumped on this country.
If he does try, he’s going to have fight Congress (even if it is Republican) all the way!
And to get our wild-eyed conservative, the field has be very narrow (no more than one or two conservatives) BEFORE the primary.
