In 1969, Weather Underground founders Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn (who were to become Pres. Obama’s personal friends and associates for many years) put Charles Manson on the cover of their occasional newspaper, “Fire”. At what was billed as a “War Council” in Flint Michigan that same year, Ayers and his comrades took to greeting eachother with “the fork” - four fingers pointed upwards, in honor of Manson. (Google Dohrn’s Flint conference quote on Manson - and Sharon Tate, who was 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time.) In 1972 Ayers dedicated the WU’s manifesto, “Prairie Fire”, to his cultural and political heroes — a list which included Sen. Robert Kennedy’s assassin, Sirhan Sirhan.
Throughout their career as terrorist bombers, Ayers and Dohrn were constantly trying to break the Left free of its “bourgeois” commitment to any standard of justice or decency. By adopting Charles Manson as their own, by praising Manson as a hero of the counterculture, they hoped to smash the Left’s “bourgeois” ties to civilization and thus spark similar acts of horrific “revolutionary” violence against innocent people.
Over 400 people attended that Flint conference. Can’t help but wonder what positions they have now, unknown to anyone but each other...

If we do get an outbreak, I do think the leftists will use it as an opportunity to grab even more power for themselves. They'll be able to control our movement, they'll get more access to our private space and of course they'll use it to get more of our money.

I think they are gambling that Ebola doesn’t get too bad within the USA before the election. They will appeal to their base to get out the vote because “Look how racist and hateful the Republicans are, even denying aid to poor Africans and trying to destroy their economies while reserving effective treatment for whites only.” They are joining JJackson in their belief that white conservative Texas denied Duncan good treatment, reserving effective medicine for whites.
Will it work? Yes with some progressives and blacks but too many other people will be put off. I know I’m looking at my granddaughter when I say quarantine.
Short Run: It hurts them in the upcoming midterm elections since the Left's natural incompetence in handling any kind of a problem will be in full view of the voting public.
Long Run: The State will expand as the size of the problem expands. That is the primary goal of the Left. Grow the State. So this helps them in the long run. As a result, they welcome it even though it hurts them in the short run.
Cloward-Piven with a twist of Ebola. Previously the groundwork was laid with obamacare so no one can be denied treatment. Now they flood the system with greviously ill people. The system collapses. People demand action. The dems promise a worker’s paradise and shove the country irretrievably into socialism.
