Leonard Petlakh, a local Jewish leader in New York City, was assaulted by pro-Palestinian protesters at the Barclays Center on Wednesday.
Petlakh, a 42-year-old who runs one of the largest sports centers in the community, was rushed to the hospital with a broken nose and required eight stitches.
He was beaten by the demonstrators in front of his children, 10 and 14, who were accompanying him to cheer on Maccabi Tel Aviv in their loss to the Brooklyn Nets.

I’m going to do myself a favor and NOT hold my breath waiting for Barack Obama to denounce the perpetrator.
To bad the crowd didn’t descend on the participants and provide justice then and there.
Well, for one thing, you know it wasn’t racism right?
The bastard in the White House probably thinks this was justified. Gosh, isn’t there someone to bow to over this? 1/2 /s
We know the lighter skinned person involved is guilty.

Since the victim runs the sports center at which he was assaulted, Obama will no doubt classify it as yet another isolated case of workplace violence.
PS - Under BO rules, does anyone know how many “isolated incidents” it takes to make a trend?
...or an epidemic?
The people who organized to put Obama in office are the same people at these “Pro-Palestinian” events.
Eric Holder please pick up the white courtesy phone.
And there are many Catholics who support abortion and Americans who hate the land of their birth. Self-hatred is a universal phenomenon.
This is BROOKLYN. Where the hell were Jews to administer a proper beat down? Pathetic.
..................
Another hate crime! How many times did he assault those innocent protesters with his nose? Soon there will be dead jihadist wannabes when they try this on someone armed, AND that’s when the justus dept. will get concerned.
“Self-hatred is a universal phenomenon.”
I find that it is not universal. I find that it is only common among leftists regardless of their backgrounds.
Darn, I forgot. My bad.
Exactly, and who are we to object the One.
You have misunderstood my use of that term. Whatever the actual cause may be, it can be found wherever societies exist. That is my point.
They’d better hope they never pick on Rabbi Gunner. He means it.
Jews might be in even stronger numbers in parts of New York than in Israel, but they’re not the majority, particularly of that neighborhood.
My point was was that self-hatred is very rare except among leftists who seem to almost always exhibit true hatred towards the people who sacrifice to raise them and support them.
And self-hatred may be the wrong term. They do not hate themselves. They tend to be egotistical and in love with themselves.
What they hate is the society they live in and the people who support them.
