For weeks now, ISIS militants in northern Syria have been attacking the Kurdish city of Ayn al-Arab, also known as Kobani, attempting to seize the city and solidify control of the territory. In the past few days, U.S.-led airstrikes on ISIS have included many targets around Kobani, and appear to have at least slowed their advance for the moment. Kobani is situated on a hillside right on the Syria-Turkey border, a border crossed by tens of thousands of Kurds fleeing their besieged city. Now, some of these refugees and fellow Kurds from southern Turkey have gathered on the border to watch the battles in Kobani through binoculars and cameras. Some Kurdish forces remain in the city, defending against invading militants, supported by Western aircraft and missiles, while ISIS continues to attack with artillery, mortars, suicide bombings, and small arms. CNN reports that senior U.S. administration officials conceded that Kobani will likely soon fall to ISIS, but downplayed the importance of the loss.

I am pretty much a hawk and should never be in power over a military. I’m looking forward to the return of the Messiah when He takes out every last person who does not want Him to reign.
Now that is a peace plan, especially when He knows who is lying. LOL
I’m not surprised let alone acting surprised.
Why do you ask? ISIS murders Americans and has declared war on us. This is not rocket science. They must be eradicated.
Eradicated and then what with the next group?
And the next?
And the next?
You do realize this stuff has been going on in the Middle East for centuries don’t you?
Exactly.
Not our fight.
These people have been fighting among each other for over 600 years .... since way before there was a USA. There is no reason to believe they will not continue for another 600+ years.
Those ISIS guys look awfully relaxed walking around in the open. It looks like the Kurds don’t have any effective snipers deployed. A 30-06 with a mil-dot scope zeroed to 300 yds and a little bit of training would go along way.
The Chechens gave the Russians a serious bloody nose with snipers when they tried to roll into Grozny
I bet you love Rand Paul.
I did not say to ignore them coming to our country.
We need to keep them out.
However, it seems to me that if they are busy fighting other Muslims they have less time and fewer resources to attack us on our homeland. Of course we should be vigilant and keep out any attacks if we can .... but I don’t see how arming some Muslims to kill other Muslims makes us safer here at home.
How are we going to stop them beheading whoever they want?
One just did it here. We didn’t stop it and bombing them over there would not have stopped that buy in OK from beheading that woman.
Be realistic. We cannot stop every single beheading and bombing certainly isn’t going to do it.
We don’t even know who we are arming. Same in Egypt, same in Libya and God only knows where else we are arming some Muslims to kill other Muslims only to have them turn on us in the end.
Your opinion is that of a defeatist loser.
I’m not lead around by nose by the media and their henchmen in Washington.
They are waging an emotional campaign to get you to fight everyone else’s battles and they got to you
I hate the media and DC almost as much as the Muslim menace. I would rather fight both of them by any means necessary.
Exactly.
I’m for sending over an army of US media and politicians who are trying to prod, goad and shame us into another conflict in the middle east.
If they want it so badly, let them go fight for some Muslims against other Muslims.
