idiots....even the uneducated non elite health care workers and grave diggers in West Africa don’t enter homes without protective gear.

If that is true and can be collaborated, the Sheriff and his deputies should be set for life. I would have objected or a least asked for some ppe. Were they not suppose to be trained for this event? That's a job for a specialist. I do pray this is just a false alarm.
How could the other folks get stuck in there for days without problems and then these two officers go in and maybe get sick?
