I would expect that it is way, way, way more than that. You have to know that they are throwing the kitchen sink at him to keep him alive and stop the deterioration of his internal organs. Of course, like all other information coming out about this crisis, we will never truly know the truth.

I was just in the hospital for a little under three days with diverticulitis. No surgery, no special meds (two IV antibiotics - just Cipro and Flagyl, which aren’t very pricey), a few doses of potassium, a few painkiller shots — really just sat there on an IV drip waiting for the pain to go away.
Total bill to my insurance? $26,000.
So this guy is easy over a million now.
