Two recent polls released in Kentucky show the Senate race between incumbent Sen. Mitch McConnell and Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes tightening in the final month.
On Monday, a Bluegrass poll showed Grimes with a two-point advantage over McConnell, 46 to 44 percent. Those numbers are within the poll's margin of error, however they represent a positive swing for Democrats in recent weeks.
Over the weekend, a New York Times/CBS/Yougov poll showed McConnell holding a six-point lead over Grimes, 47 to 41 percent.
The race in Kentucky could determine control of the Senate as Republicans look to gain six seats to control the upper chamber.

There is nothing more loathsome and evil than a person engaged in the willful destruction of a country built by our forebearers and that we have, since birth, loved and defended.
Despicable and reptilian as they might be, McConnell, Cochrane and Barbour are not actively engaged in such behavior and are, at worst, accomplices in the crimes being undertaken.
On the other hand, Barack Hussein Obama, Harry Reid and their ilk have planned the destruction of the USA and actively worked toward that end. Their's is the true evil and I am appalled that any FReeper would elevate the two-bit crimes of McConnell, et al above their's.
Makes them no different than Obama/Reid and the MarxoFascists.
That anyone would vote for them and threaten, intimidate and attempt to shame others into voting for them is just as complicit in the destruction of the country and Conservatism as Obama and his ilk are.

I don't think a single Pelosi bill has passed the House since. If we held either chamber in 2008 Obamacare would not be the law of the land and millions of young adults would be supporting themselves instead of living in their parents' basements.
Call, write, or meet Sen Ted Cruz (R) and ask him if you should vote Rebuplican in the midterm elections. If you are a genuine conservative and loyal American you will follow Ted Cruz' leadership and counsel.
