Two recent polls released in Kentucky show the Senate race between incumbent Sen. Mitch McConnell and Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes tightening in the final month.

On Monday, a Bluegrass poll showed Grimes with a two-point advantage over McConnell, 46 to 44 percent. Those numbers are within the poll's margin of error, however they represent a positive swing for Democrats in recent weeks.

Over the weekend, a New York Times/CBS/Yougov poll showed McConnell holding a six-point lead over Grimes, 47 to 41 percent.

The race in Kentucky could determine control of the Senate as Republicans look to gain six seats to control the upper chamber.

With polls all over the place and only four weeks to go, ol' Mitch will be biting his nails on election day!

Not really. He will win by 10 points. Obama is tanking in the polls - he's not going back up. In addition, add the video of Grimes’ staff stating she is lying whey she says she supports the coal industry.

Yep. I’ll hold my nose and vote for Grimes (My first D vote since 1972), but cleaning out the R’s is a higher priority than gaining the senate. Gaining it with so many RINO’s is not a win.

I disagree. It is a principled stand. If we are to have an effective opposition to the leftists we must clean up the GOP.

I’ll hold my nose and vote for Grimes...

That sounds to me like a great attitude for the primary. With the primaries over, focus should shift on Reid-riddance. I hate the likes of Roberts, McConnell, Cochran and others. The feeling is one of "Mad as hell, not going to take it anymore". But, the November voting must be get rid of reid, as there is no greater evil than a reid/Ø cabal.

Someone heartily thanks you.

Ignore the GOP pep squad. Mitch has to go. That others here are situational ethics majors should not dissuade you at all.

they lack the guts to do what needs to be done. Of all the Rinos that must be voted out, he’s in the top spot. If it means a Dem, so be it.

You are denying conservatives like Sessions the opportunity to hold chairmanships.

Ugh...you love Obama.

Exactly.

And the time to do that is the primary.

How does voting for Grimes serve this purpose?

Over the weekend, a New York Times/CBS/Yougov...

This same poll showed Roberts and Orman tied in Kansas while another one by NBC et. al. had Orman up by 10. The question then becomes are the CBS polls outliers? Or are they beginning to signal a trend to the GOP candidate? Future polls will tell.

Then logically it does not matter who he votes for does it.

the fact it is principled doesn’t mean it is not foolish

that sort of nonsensical thought got us obama.

principled Nazis gassed jews

principled priests led the effort to have the Romans crucify Jesus
