Two recent polls released in Kentucky show the Senate race between incumbent Sen. Mitch McConnell and Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes tightening in the final month.
On Monday, a Bluegrass poll showed Grimes with a two-point advantage over McConnell, 46 to 44 percent. Those numbers are within the poll's margin of error, however they represent a positive swing for Democrats in recent weeks.
Over the weekend, a New York Times/CBS/Yougov poll showed McConnell holding a six-point lead over Grimes, 47 to 41 percent.
The race in Kentucky could determine control of the Senate as Republicans look to gain six seats to control the upper chamber.

Yet McConnell, Barbour, Cochran, Boehner et al., they dress up as Republican Conservatives for the purpose of obtaining power and then using it to destroy from within the very people and ideology that put them there.
By their words and actions, the GOP leadership has declared war on Conservatives they are working to destroy us.
Conservatives are voting for their own immediate destruction by voting for a Ruling Class Republican like McConnell.
Perhaps because the Supreme Court is allowing homosexual marriage to be forced on the entire country. We have bigger problems than one man's political career in Mississippi.

Well, during the George W. years, the GOP had the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives and NOT A DAMN THING CHANGED. As a matter of fact, that was when the “gay marriage” thing started. Plus spending and entitlements sky-rocketed.

Well, the “queer marriage” thing started during the Bush years when we had the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives. So, you think that sorry bunch of RINOs we have now will do anything? Besides, once the Supreme Court rules it to be the law of the land, no amount of legislation is going to change it. We should have never gotten in the mess we’re in today. But, when neither party has Conservative values and principles...... what do you expect?
I expected democrat activists to infiltrate this site to agitate and advocate voting against Republicans before the mid-terms. I suppose you missed the part I said about them disenfranchising the votes of 150,000 true, Conservatives by their antics. Mitch McConnell, Thad Cochrane and Haley Barbour all might be a dunce, a dullard, a RINO, a rinky-dink, a mistake and a mooch; they might be corrupt, incompetent, stupid, narrow-minded men of no vision; they could be a trainwreck or a tag team of turds...but, when it comes to evil, they're no match for Barack Hussein Obama...or even Dingy Harry Reid.
Only a liberal Democrat could consider McConnell, Cochrane and Barbour the epitome of evil as compared to the likes of Obama and Reid.
