I'm not worried.

Most people on FR are not buying your sour grapes. They're smarter. They're voting in favor of the conservatives in the GOP Senate whose message will gain power.

Please add "me" to your GOP-E "vendetta list" when a depressed Karl Rove complains AGAIN that the Tea Party is responsible that Harry Reid is STILL the Senate Majority Leader ...

and that feeble-old-corrupt Thad Cochran is waiting in Reid's ante-room to "service" Harry Reid ...

politically "service" Harry Reid, of course.

“It shows that his values are screwy. Libertarians lean left on many issues.”

Should moderate-liberal republicans, who also lean left on many issues, also be removed from the committee??

If they’re trouble makers like Amash (as conservative rep Westmoreland says) then most definitely.

Most people on FR are CONSERVATIVES, NOT party hacks like yourself.

They're voting in favor of the conservatives in the GOP Senate whose message will gain power.

Which "Conservatives" would those be?

The "minority leader" who vowed to "crush" Conservatives, "Punch us in the nose" and make sure we can never field a single Conservative candidate in a general election ANYWHERE in the country????

THOSE "Conservative" GOP Senators????

Go pound sand and try to get support and votes from the Mexicans and 'moderates' your party seeks to replace us Conservatives with as their new base.

Conservatives like Jeff Sessions.

Why do you think Cruz is campaigning for a GOP Senate. Is Cruz a RINO?

I don’t think you understand how totally fed up constitutional conservatives are with campaigns such as the one against McDaniel in MS. The nation loses if constitutional conservatives don’t set a new direction for the country, and it won’t happen if the most disgusting RINO backstabbers keep getting elected.

——You are going to equate principled Conservatives who refuse to vote for liberal Republicans with Nazis exterminating Jews and those who killed Jesus Christ?-——

Well, yes......

The examples cited were to illustrate the consequences zealous application of principles can produce.

Having cut up my plastic card, a somewhat extreme action, I can truthfully claim to not be a Republican party hack.

I have put forward the concept of the GOPc. The GOPc is something to be for and antithesis to the GOPe that Freepers love to trash. I do not favor the liberal wing. However it is, and more or less always has been.

The GOPc is the conservative wing of the Republican party.

If conservatives are to have a real voice and actual achievement in the US Government, it will be through the action of the GOPc. The right wing acting alone will never accomplish it’s goals as a stand alone group. There are more conservative Republicans than there are extreme conservatives.

There is a myth of conservative power that is essentially the ascension of a powerful ultra right wing. That is a myth that is not going to ever happen in the foreseeable future.

What is possible in the near future is the ascension of the GOPc within the Republican party. There will be adequate raw political power to forcefully affect the conservative agenda.

It is therefore counter productive, even foolish to either vote for a democrat or not vote at all out of spite. The only way to achieve conservative desires is to act through the GOPc.

It has become Free Republic dogma that everything Republican is bad. That is wrong and largely results from the overzealous application of principle.

To achieve conservative goals, the aims of the GOPc, there must first be a Republican party.

Speaker Newt Gingrich,

It is my hope that you will read this Free Republic post, and my own comments, as the poster of your article.

There is perhaps no more loyal supporter of Newt Gingrich's ideas at Free Republic than myself.

Sir, you often display the courage and brilliance of Sir Winston Churchill.

Your quotation (below) is admirable ... and EXACTLY defines the moral-political-finacial CRISIS that we face in this DEADLY October of 2014.

"We have to frankly break the back of the secular-socialist machine, elect people committed to representing the American people, and then methodically rip the system apart."

~Newt Gingrich, 2012

===============================================

Speaker Gingrich ...

America (Land of the Free and Home of the Brave) is in GRAVE DANGER of an impending disaster, albeit caused by Ebola, an Iranian-EMP attack, ISIS or something else up Obama's evil Kenyan-Islamic sleeve.

That statement is "not" political hyperbole.

Speaker Gingrich, what the American people are now witnessing is a level of "treason" not seen since Bill Ayres, Rosenburgs or Daniel Pollard.

Sadly, it is a FACT.

Literally, the lives and safety of ten million Americans are at stake, and Obama's CIA, CDC, DOD are comically marching around like the Three Stooges.

They are joined by the corrupt despicable idiots in the Republican Party Leadership !
They are joined by the corrupt despicable idiots in the Republican Party Leadership !
They are joined by the corrupt despicable idiots in the Republican Party Leadership !

Even DEMOCRATS Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz KNOW that the TEA PARTY is the "only" reason why that feckless fool John Boehner is the current Speaker of the House.

Yet ... John Boehner and Mitch McConnell are the TEA Party's most forceful detractors.

John Bohner and Mitch McConnell FRANTICLY raise millions of dollars (and Mexican pesos) to DEFEAT TEA Party candidates in the primaries.

As a superb historian, Speaker Gingrich, even you would have difficulty trying to recall a most politically-self-destructive GANG of CORRUPT IDIOTS like the current Republican Party.

Even you, Speaker Gingrich, were politically butchered at the hands of the GOP bloodsuckers in the 2012 GOP Presidential Primaries.

You WON the PIVOTAL SOUTH CAROLINA PRIMARY ...

and yet the evil GOP leadership conspired to "politically" assassinate you.

I watched these events (firsthand) while working in the Florida Primary ... and sending you whatever funds I could scrounge up.

Indeed, it's possible that you remember me ... as the gray haired gentlemen who addressed you as "Mr. President" as you departed the Tampa Airport Rally (on election day) as both you and Callista graced my copy of The Federalist Papers with you audiograpghs.

Speaker Gingrich ... I "do" ACCURATELY speak for ten million (or more) American Patriot Conservatives ...

who wish that John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and (ESPECIALLY) Reince Priebus would just "go live on the moon" ...

which is how an evangelical Christian tells someone to "GO TO HELL".

Where the HELL was "Saint" Reince Priebus when the WINNER of the 2014 Mississippi GOP Senate Primary (Thad Cochran) had his victory stolen from him by the GOP-Elite ?

How many Champagne toasts did Karl Rove and Mitch McConell share over that act of political EVIL ?

Speaker Gingrich, I hope that you REFLECT CLOSELY on these "scientific truths" ...

Clearly, the only reason that the "Tea Party Haters" John Boehner and Saint Reince Priebus, are making such "conservative " speeches now is ...

MONEY
MONEY
MONEY.

It's a craven $$$$$ appeal to the despicable Chamber of Commerce mafia ...

who would ...

"Sell Their Own Daughters To An Islamic Brothel" ...

to pass ...

Illegal Amnesty NOW !

Speaker Gingrich, with all due respect, Sir, I'm praying that John Bohner, Mitch McConnell and Thad Cochran are replaced by DEMOCRATS in 2014.

Respectfully,

Patton@Bastogne

Oh, I understand the frustration. I have felt it every day on Free Republic since 1998.

To understand my position, please refer to my recent post # 129

To grasp the conservative problem it must first be understood that there are several, perhaps even many, different conservative types. Conservatism, especially as voiced on Free Republic, is expressed as a heterogeneous body of thought. The only way to express that thought through raw political power in the existing government is to concentrate the force.

That concentration is what I call the GPOc.

Conservatives like Jeff Sessions.

Last I looked Sessions is not up for Leadership.

McConnell is.

I'm writing in a Conservative. I would rather see Grimes get that seat than see a turtleous worm who declared war on us be in any 'leadership' position.

At least I will know who the enemy is and won't have to worry about being betrayed, abandoned and have my throat slit in my sleep with him in "leadership".

After what they did in MS with Cochran, it really makes no difference which party is in control of the Senate. Conservatism loses regardless.

That says everything I needed to hear.

We're done talking. You are as despicable and sickening as the Democrats you supposedly oppose and there is no difference between you and the stormtroopers for Obama aside from what letter you demand everyone vote for.

To achieve Conservative goals, one needs live and ACT as a Conservative, not compromise and adopt policies and principles that are anathema to the cause.

But that's "too Extreme" for hacks like you who see anyone refusing to compromise as a Nazi and a Christ killer. Go and pander your need for support and votes from Mexicans and unprincipled pragmatists.

You make me sick that you would dare call yourself a Conservative.

You're obviously not.

Bert,

I genuinely understand your frustration.

My frustration is that I've spent lots of hours and lots of personal campaign contributions to "great" Conservative candidates in 2012 and 2014 ...

ONLY to have my GOP "friends" (Karl Rove, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell) do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE ...

to defeat the "good guys".

"Denial ain't just a River in Egypt"

The tragic political FACT is, that barring a MIRACLE, America will NEVER recover at this point.

"Every" poster at Free Republic senses this TRUTH but is terrified to admit it.

Our dear children and grandchildren will be ROYALLY SCREWED by the "Mitt Romney Aristocracy" types.

Did you see the movie "Hunger Games" ?

That's (probably) America in 2047.

In the meantime ... I'm sick and tired of playing footsies with "despicable traitors" like John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and Juan McCain.

Their "Prime Directive" is to DESTROY the American Tea Party.

And like it or not, I guess I'm like James Bowie and William B. Travis at the "Battle for the Alamo" in 1836.

It genuinely sucks.

And in this epic political battle ... my "friends" and "enemies" are BOTH trying to kill me on the political battlefield ...

then I guess I'll just have to (politically) kill both of the bastards.

After all, it's honestly the BEST chance for my children and grandchildren to have "genuine" FREEDOM.

You don't consider Budget Chair a position of leadership?

No.

The Ruling Class is busy purging Conservatives from leadership chairs and defunding their candidacy this election against Democrats if they will not do the bidding and surrender to the demands of the Leadership.

Sessions will no more advance Conservatism and gain power in a McConnell-run Senate than we currently see with Reid in charge.

They'll simply Cochran him if he doesn't play ball.

Makes no difference whether or not the GOP takes control of the Senate.
