My Sprinter wearing a Dodge badge but in reality a Mercedes van is not on the list because they almost never become used vehicles......... they just go on and on and on.
I expect at least 350 k miles by which time I will likely be unable to drive any more.

How about cars — half these on the list are trucks.

It seems to me that list is made up of vehicles you are more likley to see driven by people with jobs that take them on long trips....vehicles that rack up 200K in a short time...and not vehicles that go the distance of time with average-daily-yearly use (~15-20K miles a years).
I say this because I have a lot of buddies here in TX that have these vehicles and they spend a LOT of time on the road for their jobs...putting 50-60K a year on their trucks...so a truck with 200K miles...like the F250...may only be 3 years old.

A total of three vehicles on that list that aren’t some variety of truck or SUV. I have a Subaru Legacy wagon, good car. Gas mileage isn’t as high as you’d think due to AWD but still in the twenties.

that is list is mostly due to the fact those are big sellers too
some are expensive to replace too
it’more than just durable to make that list

If it has the 4.9L inline 6 you could get half a million miles or more. That was the best internal combustion engine ever conceived by man.

This chart makes me glad that I just adopted an F-250 Superduty! I love him. He has a very sweet disposition. Like most rescues, he responds to affection and consistent training—he’s grateful to have a loving mama and a secure forever home. ;-) Now I’m trying to learn how to take care of him properly. Advice welcome.

It’s amazing - Almost ALL of that list is American and pickup based.
