Liberian authorities say they plan to prosecute the man infected with Ebola who brought the disease to the United States, saying he lied on his airport health questionnaire.
With an Ebola crisis raging in West Africa, passengers leaving Liberia are being screened for fever and are asked if they have had contact with anyone infected.
On the questionnaire obtained by The Associated Press, Thomas Eric Duncan answered 'no' to those questions.
Neighbors say Duncan had helped a sick pregnant woman who later died of the disease. Her illness at the time was believed to be pregnancy-related.
Binyah Kesselly, chairman of the board of directors of the Liberia Airport Authority, told reporters Thursday that Duncan will be prosecuted when he returns to Liberia.

My very first thought. I'd almost suspect this was an arranged excuse but that would be too cynical of me.
Wouldn't it?
Great. So if he survives, we will be supporting him for years. I’m sure he will seek asylum.
Hopefully this will stop flights to the USA from that country in question. I hope so.
Lying is just Auditioning for a job in the Obama administration
From what I am reading I don’t know he lied per se.
Says the woman later died of the disease...
They are not very clear as to the sequence of events, nor that he had any way of actually knowing...
That said, at least Liberia asks the questions and makes an attempt at screening...we just welcome them in...
Obummer has found Holders replacement-Black and a proven LIAR.
....so please don't cut off our foreign aid....
“So Liberia is now more competent in terms of border control than WE are....”
We haven’t had a President concerned about border control since Reagan. Certainly not amnesty pushers Dubya and Obola.
Liberia has more sense than our president.
“Duncan will be prosecuted when he returns to Liberia”
IF he lives, that statement guarantees him refugee status in the U.S.
when he returns to Liberia.
He now has immediate refugee status I bet.
Kinda what I was thinking. Even if he’s cured.
I’ll bet these people who are exposed to eBaola, get on the plane to the only country using medicine to save them from dying. Why not hope a plane?
I haven’t followed all this real closely, but I feel like this guy is up to something in addition to having the ebola.
Not sure what.
After being asked by a nurse, Duncan [the Texas ebola patient] did say that he'd traveled from Africa, said Dr. Mark Lester, executive vice president of Texas Health Presbyterian's parent company. But that detail -- which might have raised an alarm that Duncan might have Ebola, since Liberia is one of the countries hardest hit by the virus -- was not "fully communicated" to the medical team, according to Lester.
Also of note is the video interview of the mayor of Dallas at that site. He's asked whether, in view of the public health issues, whether Dallas would release names of ebola patients to the public. His reply is that no, that Dallas is a law-abiding government, and we have HIPAA regulations here.
True, if he does recover and we try to deport him the CBC will raise hell and cry racism all over the place. No problem with our immigration enforcement, is there? Do you all get the feeling we’re just sitting ducks waiting for a humongous disaster to happen at any time?
He should be prosecuted HERE, where he put people at risk.
Well, it won’t solve anything now but it might make future carriers think twice.
We have got to stop traffic from these regions. Ebola is obviously here now, but because of where it is (non-tropical) I think we might have a chance of stopping it. But supposing it comes into a tropical or semi-tropical region of the US?
This man obviously knew or suspected that he had it (because he knew he had been exposed) and he came here because he thought he’d get better care here. I’m sure some of his family knew, too.
That’s criminal in my book.
