Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (MSM) make up 2 percent of the U.S. population but are the group most definitively affected by HIV, with 63 percent of those newly infected by HIV representing this group.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s weekly “Morbidity and Mortality” report shows that among persons newly infected with HIV in 2010, 63 percent were men who have sex with other men. Among Americans living with HIV, 52 percent were MSM – and a significant number of men with HIV are not receiving treatment.
“Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM) represent approximately 2 percent of the United States population, yet are the risk group most affected by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV),” reads the Sept. 26 CDC report. “Most gay and bisexual men acquire HIV through anal sex, which is the riskiest type of sex for getting or transmitting HIV.
“Having more sex partners compared to other men means gay and bisexual men have more opportunities to have sex with someone who can transmit HIV or another STD. Similarly, among gay men, those who have more partners are more likely to acquire HIV.”
Just one in two gay or bisexual men who have been diagnosed with HIV receives treatment for the virus, and only 42 percent had achieved viral suppression.

I’d like to see what percentage of them are pedophiles and how many have been arrested for lewd behavior and aggravated sexual assault and then compare their figures to “regular people”. I can already hear the protests against a truth they don’t want to hear...

Yep...if you consider gay men only (not bi-sexual) it is less than 2%, which would make the stats worse for that group.
The numbers should be no surprise either, a small group of men that only get to have sex within that group where the sheer mechanics of it all leads to easy transmission of diseases...along with having more partners than most. Any disease injected into such an environment will thrive.
...but for this we must force the religious to do things they don’t support, because this is a “higher” cause. It’s pathetic.
Whenever you read or hear of a statistic quoted by an admitted liberal, take it with a grain of salt. Virtually every statistic quoted by a liberal is false.

Obviously this disparate impact of HIV is evidence of hate.
We could be quarantining the AIDS/HIV infected so they cannot infect others. At the very least we should be tracking down the infected and the morons that insist on having sex with these carriers. Isolate them, give them treatment, and let them screw themselves to death.
We cannot do this because homosexuals are the primary vector of the disease’s spread and they are a “protected” species under liberal interpretation of the the law. That law trumps all common sense public health interests.
