There is something wrong here. A previous story said he came Dallas on Sept. 20th or so and showed symptoms 5 days later, at which time he would be contagious. The incubation period is around 20 days. According to this, there is no way this family member should be showing symptoms now. I’m sceptical that the truth is being told. Its possible that there could be a big problem unfolding here.

The incubation period for Ebola can be anywhere from a few days to up to 21 days.

The incubation period is around 20 days. I've seen that written as "as long as 21 days." Three weeks. But apparently some people might manifest symptoms in less time.
