The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday confirmed the first case of Ebola has been diagnosed in the United States.
This story is developing. Please check back for further updates
“They have banned people from the ebola countries.”
Yeah, like that’ll work. It only takes one in close quarters like were pictured (why did they pull my post?).
Anyway, we’ll see what happens.
“The word has likely gone out to them to keep it quiet, so as not to start a panic.”
Yeah, so much so that FR even pulled my post.

Nigeria supposedly stopped their outbreak very quickly. It is also more powerful than the countries with the out of control the epidemic.
They really should be moving faster, if for no other reason than to dispel panic.
“Have we ever gotten anything good from Africa?”
Nope. They don’t call it the dark continent for nothing.
It seems there is a concerted effort to downplay the significance of this. I looked at several front pages of today’s newspapers, and it is not on every front page, and when it is, it is often no extremely prominent. http://www1.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/default.asp?tfp_region=usa
Fox & Friends just confirmed that the fellow passengers on this man’s flight will not be screened at all by medical professionals.
The CDC is saying there is ZERO chance anyone on his flight became infected.
Wow.
One article said the guy had “just moved here.”
I bet he came here on a visitor visa with no intention of ever going back to Africa. Who would? He may be just one of thousands of Ebola refugees fleeing Africa.
Wow, that is strange. How could they know there is a zero chance?
Something not adding up here.
The CDC is saying there is ZERO chance anyone on his flight became infected.
Wow.
Saw that also. The dude actually said isolating those countries wouldn't be helpful. I couldn't believe it.
I'm calling my sinators today and demanding this idiot be removed from CDC.
Rightly or wrongly, because they all say people are not infectious until they start showing symptoms, and they are saying he did not exhibit symptoms on the flight.
think how effective this would be if you could get the "believers" to do it.
thousands of biological weapons on planes, moving through airports, malls, hospitals, etc.
you could never bring about the fear and devastation for just the price of a plane ticket.
they'd be walking time bombs.
Dallas station 37 A shift and B shift all quarantined at Dallas Presbyterian along with their ambulance for 21 days.
No family at this time quarantined.
Gee, and I thought our military was going to bring it back. Nuts they foiled Obama’s plan for destroying America. sarc.
Ebola has a 60% death rate and you are comparing the severity of Ebola to the common flu? The way you are pooh poohing this I have to ask, are you the Dr. from Fox News; Bernie Seigel? Are you the head of the CDC Dr. Thomas Frieden? The same cavalier, “it can never happen to the US.” to “it will be contained easily as we have superior medical facilities than the third world.” excuses reek of arrogance and a false sense of delusion. This is worse than panic as this misleads the public into thinking they are safe when Ebola can be transmitted rather easily if 2 Dr.s contracted it even when wearing supposedly sufficient protective gear.
Everyone should be calling their senators for the removal of this CDC a$$clown Dr. Thomas Frieden. He has the same incompetent look as all the other Obama drones.
The Hajj is just beginning, we’ll see what happens in
the next month.
Agree. It struck me as bizarre in it’s negligence.
Nothing to worry about in Dallas, safest place in the country, nobody needs to worry about going to Dallas. Nothing bad EVER happens in Dallas, Texas.
