Former New York Gov. George Pataki is reportedly considering running for president in 2016, though a former aide says talk of a campaign is premature.
The New York Post reported Tuesday that Pataki is privately weighing whether to enter the wide-open Republican field. The paper says Pataki recently met with Republican donor David Koch.
Pataki was governor from 1995 to 2006 and was mentioned as a potential presidential contender in the 2008 and 2012 elections.
David Catalfamo, a former top Pataki adviser, says it's premature to talk about his former boss running for president. He says Pataki and Koch are friends and often meet.
State Republican Chairman Ed Cox dismissed questions about Pataki's future Tuesday, saying he's focused on this year's elections.
Messages left for Pataki were not returned Tuesday.
uh, no.
I do not think Cruz is going to run.

That’s funny. Considering he is already running. And has been since early last year.
Why not let Jodi Rell announce her candidacy for President. Let’s have another RINO run..
Oh joy.
Pataki Flashback:
Governor George E. Pataki today signed into law legislation he proposed to allow undocumented immigrants attending the City University of New York (CUNY) and the State University of New York (SUNY) to be charged the State resident tuition level.
“New York has been a beacon of freedom and opportunity for generations, and those who have come to our shores have made tremendous contributions to our State and Nation,” Governor Pataki said. “This legislation reinforces New York’s proud legacy as a bastion of hope and opportunity by ensuring access to a high-quality, affordable higher education for hard-working immigrants.”

Okey dokey.
Well, that would be a terrible disappointment. The buzz is that he will. But who knows?
Meanwhile, why don't you think he will run? He sure seems like he intends to.
