I was in a cell phone store here in Houston yesterday. I wasn’t wearing my hearing aids and yet I could clearly hear loud talking coming from the other side of the walls. I asked the clerk (clearly a muslim guy) what the noise was. He responded that it was the praying from the prayer room. There is a mosque next door to the cell phone store. The door is not marked in any way to indicate it is a mosque. I decided I did not need anything from this store as I will not have any profits from my purchases used to possibly support terror.

I banned my wife from going to a Moslem doctor 15 years ago when the first ones started practicing in the area. I was a child for several years in Istanbul and have paid attention to Turkey and with it, Islam, ever since. I have had experiences with Moslems ostensibly seeking friendship. Islamic countries do not ever have sufficient resources on their own to rise beyond subsistence for the huge majority and opulence for a tiny ruling class. The average person knows it is futile to try to materially improve his lot because the Sultan/Imam/Bey/etc. will confiscate everything he produces beyond barely enough for subsistence. Any surplus beyond that must and will go for Jihad. The Western countries provide copious amounts of the necessary surplus for Jihad by buying oil and gas from Moslem countries and by flat out giving Moslems Money through foreign aid and bad loans. The west buys the bullets that are fired against Westerners.

Islam has operated the same way since Mohammed was raiding camel caravans.

Obama behaves as an Ottoman Sultan. He has total power in his system but turns over actual administration and rule to a Vizier (prime minister) who, in this case, appears to be Valery Jarrett. The Sultan still retains that total power and should the Vizier displease him, unlikely so long as his authority is not questioned, he will have the Vizier killed, classically that would be by strangulation or by "halving" in the case of the Mamelukes of Egypt.
In the meantime the Sultan spends his time hunting and frequenting his summer palaces and vacation retreats or, in the modern world, golf.
