Yesterday, Chelsea Clinton announced the birth of her first child, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky. Grandparents Bill and Hillary Clinton both tweeted sweet family photos of "one of the happiest moments of our life." The NY Post sent their own love letter to the happy family on the front cover today. The only thing more NY Post-y would be if Andrea Peyser wrote fan fiction about a post-apocalyptic future filled with liberal tyrants in pampers.
Of course, not everyone was as amused as we were by the Post—The Huffington Post tsk-tsk'd them, and plenty of people tweeted their disapproval. But being offended by the NY Post in 2014 is like being offended that Andy Borowitz is the most shared New Yorker writer. Terrible things that are popular don't just suddenly stop being terrible.
And this isn't even outrageous for them—did you read that venomous Peyser column about cyclists last week? Or what about the times they wantonly fat-shamed? And slut-shamed world leaders?

I’m sure Bill and Hillary are proud grandparents, I guarantee you over the next two years, the baby will become so much more to them...as a political prop.
Too funny ...”It’s not what you’re expecting”.
The devil is proud, it’s what he would expect of the Clintons!
Get ready for feature stories on her nursery school, photospreads of her baby fashions, updates on grammer school, dating updates, speculation about which college will be lucky enough to be chosen by her, articles in cool teen magazines ghostwritten with her byline, sad articles about how much she miss her grandfather since he passed, and on and on.
From now until the day you die, you will be force fed relentless updates on every aspect of her life. There will be no refuge.
Question — why did the media virtually ignore the birth of Bush’s grandchild? If the media have decided that grandchildren of former presidents are so newsworthy, why do they only give glowing coverage to certain grandchildren and not others????
The Bush’s don’t live in New Yawk City, where Liberal ex-Presidents and their wives (who would be president ) are treated like Royalty.
I have to admit that I thought the same thing, so I said 10 Hail Marys and then I started to chuckle like a lunatic.
It wouldn't surprise me.
Makes me feel icky but a pig is a pig.
The picture is fine but the headline is very rude. I’m sorry I can’t support mocking an infant, I don’t care who her parents and grandparents are.
I read the NY Post everday (on line of course), but I’d say file this under: if you don’t have anything nice to say - don’t say anything at all.
How about “Headless Body in Topless Bar?”
Rosemary’s baby is alive.
I can just see Hillary cooing to the baby: “You’re such a precious little thing, aren’t ya? Gramma can’t wait to take you out on the campaign trail.”
“Ok, yeah, I forgot the babe is a girl..........”
Pretend your under oath and use the Clinton ploy:
“It depends on what the meaning of the words ‘is’ is.”
Well the mother certainly does.
We all know that’s just a co-inkydink. Hillary said so...
Webb’s Charlotte or Charlotte’s Web?
Come on, leftists, it’s not like they insulted the Kardashians.
Gee, it seems I remember Mr. and Mrs. Clinton saying that Chelsea was off limits to the press. Now, with a baby (and Chelsea) the Clintons will condescend to play on the oogling public for the sake of Hillary. Bring on the Press,....it’s showtime.....bound to be good for a few hundred thousand votes.
