(Reuters) - Several protesters were arrested on Thursday night after police clashed with demonstrators at a rally in Ferguson, Missouri, where black teenager Michael Brown was shot to death by a white police officer last month, CNN and KMOV-TV reported.
A number of protesters were arrested after Ferguson police chief Tom Jackson began marching with a crowd of rally-goers and a scuffle broke out near him, the broadcasters, CNN and St. Louis television station KMOV, said.
Reuters could not independently verify the reports. Representatives of the Ferguson Police Department could not be immediately reached for comment.
The latest incident comes just hours after Jackson issued a video apology to the parents of Michael Brown, following weeks of heavy criticism and calls for his ouster.
"I want to say this to the Brown family. No one who has not experienced the loss of a child can understand what you are feeling," Chief Jackson said in the video. "I am truly sorry for the loss of your son."
Jackson spoke directly into a camera and read from a script in the video, released by a public relations firm hired by the city. He addressed Brown's parents, as well as people whom he called "peaceful protesters."

Yeah. We do not want to do that.
Police chief is an idiot. Sure, lets all go out to call in the msm for a ridiculous apology and remind the ferals about the incident. Yeah, like that’s not going to get them started up again.
Nuke Ferguson. That’ll improve the neighborhood by 1000x times.
Good points.
True.
The undeniable reality is that when addressing most blacks you meet on any given day... 50% of them will have an IQ of 81 or lower. This is frightening, but a reality.
I do not believe that this is genetic, I believe that it is cultural. Stupid people have stupid children. The children are stupid because the parents simply don’t have the capacity themselves to raise the IQ of their offspring beginning day 1. There is a cultural bias against learning by blacks. Stir that all up, and you get an entire population that are incapable of governing themselves.
Look at that first chart...it explains why Africa as a whole is a completely ungovernable mess and it always will be.
One cannot “civilize” the intellectually limited. Their responses to problems they cannot solve intellectually is violence, just like the retarded do when they become frustrated.
Until you change the “black” culture that has existed under the democRATS, these places are un-governable, the children in-educable, and every dime spent in such places is wasted.
Look at the cities in America. Every last one of them. Populated mostly by blacks, run by democRATS, and completely devastated war zones reminiscent of Mogadishu. They live under the mindset of “better to rule in hell, than serve in heaven”. And hell on earth is what they create.
It is an unpleasant reality that needs to be changed, but as long as there are votes to be bought, sadly it will not.
thank you
I agree that a lot of the low black IQ is cultural. But not all of it. Different races have different IQ ranges. It's heredity....were the skills their ancestors needed to survive intellectual, analytical skills? Were they skills of working together and adapting to a less challenging environment? etc
In our politically correct world, we can't acknowledge that different ethnic groups have tendencies to different skill sets. It's a crime, because learning is no longer being geared to potential.

it explains much for the muslim/arab world and why they lash out the way they do
Yep - I ache for those times when the People had a lot more sense - along with a sense of right/wrong and personal responsibility. Black neighborhoods were on the track to responsible respectability back then - and LBJ came along with his "vision" and folks bought into it.

I remember Mom's Mabley. She said, "The only thing an old man can do for me is take a message to a young man."
