The suspect in the deadly Pennsylvania state trooper ambush earlier this month has been leaving a trail for police and, at times, wears adult diapers to enable him to hunker down for long periods of time like a sniper, police said Thursday.

Somehow they found out he was a bed wetter.
So the real reason he's wearing adult diapers is to fit in with the local populace!?
...and the State Police lab has to analyze the diapers for Frein’s DNA!
He sure knows how to play the police.
RAMBO!
I see what you did there.
If nothing else, this qualifies him to apply to be a psycho astronaut.
Or Michael Moore...
“Yeah, hes probably sitting in a Florida apartment watching it on TV.”
I figured he is part of the search team.
Send in the poop-sniffing dogs, problem solved.
They drew 1st blood...
Remember this?
The kidnapping of Peggy Ann Bradnick took place near Shade Gap, Pennsylvania on May 11, 1966. Bradnick, who was 17 years old at the time, was kidnapped by William Diller Hollenbaugh and held captive for seven days before she was rescued by Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI at a farm in Burnt Cabins, Pennsylvania. Her ordeal made national headlines, and the search was the largest manhunt in United States history at the time.[1] One FBI agent, Terry R. Anderson, was shot and killed in pursuit of Hollenbaugh.

My God! Officer Friendly has had his fingers shot off! Call the SWAT team!
“You could buy a 20mm anti tank rifle back then, and I dont ever recall this kind of violence.”
I remember the advertisements in the back of the magazines. You could get such great stuff back then.
JOE KENDA
Deer season will be his opportunity to leave the area. Could get up to a weeks head start before someone is noticed to be missing. Would be interesting if he dumped a stolen truck in WV or upstate NY and made it back to N.E.PA.
Wow, that’s an old one! Thanks.
Oddly enough, it doesn't seem to be keeping whomever it is they're ostensibly tracking from making said trail.
I can’t even imagine how this all will end. I hope there will be no more loss of life.
They are doing all that. The dogs have flushed him out at least once, but the state troopers lost him—he and the dogs were too fast for them!
(HINT: No more five star breakfasts at Denny’s for the police!)
I remember this. I knew the agent who was killed. A tragedy all around.
The whacko in the woods wanted a “wife”.
