It was a big deal. My graduation was just weeks away and I was going to attend a nearby college about thirty five miles from Burnt Cabins in the fall.

Situations like this always end in tragedy for someone. It does illustrate how ineffectual even massive concentrations of police can be in non urban places. One thousand LEO's spend more than a week seeking someone who is not sympathetic to most people and have not captured him yet. Yet the liberals think they can disarm 100 million gun owners.
