Traficants wife, Tish, told The (Youngstown) Vindicator that the 73-year-old former congressman was in very critical condition on Wednesday following the Tuesday night accident on his family farm in Greenford.

Settle down. Traficant’s badly formed toupee is as much a part of his persona as his trademark “Beam me up, Mr. Speaker” closing remark.

He made watching C-Span FUN!!I remember those days. Prime minister's questions and answers was fun to watch as well when Maggie was in. Maggie could take on the whole parliament at once!

Prayers up for him. He was always entertaining to watch in the 1 minute speeches.

Yes, B1 Bob who was voted out by a bunch of illegal aliens. And Loretta Sanchez is still in, probably will never be voted out.

After he got sent to prison the local minor league baseball team in Youngstown held a Jim Traficant Night. Come to the game dressed as Traficant and get in for free.
The pictures were hilarious!

Never got to see Margaret Thatcher, but I sure did like John Major's handling of the opposition. He took no prisoners either. And the lady Speaker, Betty Boothroyd, was awesome as well.

One of the last respectable Dems along with Zell Miller.
Got his hair cut with a weed wacker was always the joke.
IIRC, he is the only person the beat the Feds on a RICO case.
They eventually went after him again later and won, but he gave them hell.

He talked a good talk but then voted lock step with the Democrats. I do hope he recovers.
