Something that I would love to see is a record of some of Obama’s responses when the public gets upset about things like this, we know that he is shocked to learn what Americans think of and value, and I bet he says some really insulting things about the public, when he hears about these little uproars.

As CIC, he has the option of saluting or not (not a requirement) ... better if he hadn’t. As a matter of fact, better if he doesn’t, considering the contempt he feels for the military.

This will be his legacy picture, along with Obamacare, the economy, and on and on........ If a Republican had done this, there would be a picture of it permanently embedded on every news website for eternity. Will anyone ask him about it at the nest news conference? No.

"As a matter of fact, better if he doesnt, considering the contempt he feels for the military." But the optics! What about the optics?!
That's the only reason the bastage attempts to salute in the first place.

Some are calling it the latte salute. ABC News is probably that "some." Trying to transform this incredible disrespect for the military into an "Oh, gee! That Obama! What a card!"

Knowing that the Marines who are saluting are saluting the office not the person is somewhat comforting. As for Obama, what an ass.
