another university turns itself into a sick joke
Freedom of Association? Freedom?! Ha!
So considering the prevailing feminist statistic claiming 1 out of every 5 female students are raped, I guess this makes perfect sense.
‘Animal House’ is my favorite movie, mainly because my fraternity nickname is “Otter” but that was waaay before the movie came out.

Is bangin' yer fraternity sister a form of incest?
Liberals want to control EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of peoples’ lives. They don’t care about the right of free association. They just KNOW what is good for us.
I don’t understand what this decision has to do with drinking.
Does the Admin. think coed Frats will diminish the drinking? The women are drinking heavily, too, as we all know from the reported “epidemic” of rapes of drunken coeds. It is just as likely that the women will drink more as it is likely the men will drink less.
Hint for college admins.: Young men often drink to get the courage to approach the women. That is not likely to change until all women are naked, wearing a sign saying “Free Sex for Shy Men”. So, with women around the frat house all the time, the men may drink more.
They already do at some chapters. I’ve seen video of Kappa Alpha Psi chapters doing the Kappa cane dance, with one or possibly two white members involved.
At least one of the major national 'sororities' is chartered nationally as a fraternity, although it's identified in college Greek systems as a sorority. A co-ed fraternity could remain a fraternity.
The issue here is that the national fraternities that charter fraternal chapters at Wesleyan may not permit female members. Wesleyan is trying to change the terms of agreements that the Wesleyan fraternity chapters have with their national fraternal organizations.
There have been co-ed traditional fraternities since the early 1800s, although most co-ed traditional fraternities are recent creations.
Psi Upsilon, a co-ed traditional fraternity, has been around since 1833. Zeta Delta Xi, another co-ed traditional fraternity, was founded in 1852.
The number of single-sex traditional fraternities and sororities is so large as to make the few co-ed ones virtually meaningless.
I thought it came from the Latin word fraternitas (brotherhood)--from frater (brother).
Middle English: from Old French fraternite, from Latin fraternitas, from fraternus.
