Could the "Islamic" in "Islamic State" be a clue? Not for John Kerry. Appearing on today's Morning Joe, our clueless Secretary of State insisted that what drives ISIS is a "radical, extremist, cultish" philosophy, but not--perish the thought!--a "religious attitude."
Kerry was of course echoing the analysis of that noted theologian, Barack Obama, who two weeks ago declared that ISIS is "not Islamic." In fairness, Presidents George W. Bush and Clinton have expressed similar sentiments. For a thorough debunking of the ISIS Islam-deniers, see here.

If there was ever a *smidgen* of doubt that the Obama administration is populated with lunatics, this should remove all suspicions.
Well. Being objective even with this idiot, it is certainly not just one thing. To approach it that simply is to ensure our defeat. But to say Islam plays no part is just as stupid as saying it is the only reason.
If Obama thinks, or rather if Valery Jarett et al think that it is time for Obama to come out as a Moslem, I am sure that he will and that Kerry and many other of the not-already-Moslem Department Heads and advisors will also proclaim Shaheed or declare that they are and always have been Mahometans. If they try a formal takeover, I think that will part of the process.

Lurch likely has a middling IQ—somewhere around 100—which is not to demean others but to establish that he lacks any intellectual capacity beyond the average. ISIS is not a laughing matter in any way .... and I really, really tried not to laugh when I saw their comment regarding Kerry. I failed miserably.
