The LBJ Library at the far left University of Texas is a black mark on our fine state. I'm also galled by the number of major roads named in honor of Texas commies such as the LBJ Freeway, the R. L. Thornton Freeway, the Jim Wright Highway and the Sam Rayburn Toll Road. Sadly, not a single major artery is named after Calvin Coolidge in our state, probably due to Conservatism being a recent phenomena. Along with the great President Ronald Reagan, Coolidge deserves such honors.
I do look forward to the day when major Texas airports are named to rightfully honor future Presidents Palin and Cruz.
Good to see another Coolidge fan. Grover Cleveland is also sadly underrated, he tirelessly fought for the gold standard and was opposed to populist idiocy. The Bourbon Democrats were excellent leaders, and it’s really a shame that the Marxists hijacked the party in 1896.
