A brutally murdered 19-year-old New Jersey man was allegedly targeted by a self-proclaimed homegrown jihadist who called it a “just kill,” Fox News has revealed.
Brendan Tevlin, of Livingston, was stopped at a red light driving home from a friend’s house on June 25 when Ali Muhammad Brown allegedly walked up his car and fired ten rounds, striking him eight times.
Mr. Brown then drove the car, with Tevlin’s lifeless body still in it, to a parking lot in West Orange and left him there, Fox News reported.
Police initially announced the arrest of three suspects in Tevlin’s murder, calling it a robbery gone wrong, but as the investigation continued it was discovered that Mr. Brown had undergone extensive Jihad training in California and that he’s suspected of additional murders throughout the country, a local Fox affiliate reported.
Mr. Brown allegedly called Tevlin’s death “a just kill” for Muslim deaths at the hands of Americans in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan.
“All these lives are taken every single day by America, by this government. So a life for a life,” he said, according to court documents.
Prosecutors said Mr. Brown also stated that if a “man sees evil, then he must take action against that evil,” Fox News reported.

Now it is crystal clear that this is talking about Muslim ideas of evil, which includes most of what America calls freedom. But you can just bet every atheist and his uncle and aunt will try to broaden this to any kind of so called "religious fundamentalism." I've already seen it.
I guess the news media will have to ignore this story.

I don’t understand the # in front of “BrendanTevlan”.
I’ve seen it being used all over the internet lately. Is this some new use of #, and as what? It used to indicate a number would follow, but now what does it mean?

The media? Where’s al and jesse? This is a hate crime. Where are the white looters and rioters?
It’s for Twitter. It’s called a hashtag. Things “trend” on Twitter by the amount of times the hashtag is re-tweeted.
In between kicking in doors of jaywalkers, maybe a SWAT team could be sent in a few of their tanks to investigate American-based jihad training operations that are starting to produce Muslim mass murderers?

In 2004, there were 16,137 cases of murder or nonnegligent manslaughter in the United States. Because 37.4% of these cases went uncleared, around 6,035 people “got away with murder” that year. Of course, this assumes each offender murdered only one person, which very likely isn’t true, but seeing as the cases are unsolved, this is our best guess. Anyway, while that number is disturbingly high, there is some good news. From 2003 to 2004, the number of murders fell 2.4% and violent crime in general is on a downswing.
More recent data is less available but of the estimated 14,827 people murdered in the US in 2012, it looks like 62.5% were cleared which means 5,560 murders comitted in 2012 were not cleared in 2012. It isn't immediately clear how many of those were ultimately cleared in 2013/2014.
One has to wonder how many of those 5,560, essentially, unsolved murders, were actually random acts of jihad.
