Can we do this in both Europe against Russia and the Eastern Pacific against China, and against North Korea, and against Iran all at the same time without nukes?

Its quite simple, it would take FAR more than 800 thousand men to defeat NATO and conquer Europe. Two thirds of any modern military force consist of logistical, support, and command troops. That leaves Russia with only 266,000 trigger-pullers who would have to advance several hundred miles West and somehow hold one million square miles of territory. For perspective, it took the US Forces two weeks to reach Baghdad, and that was against a third-world foe and conducted upon ideal blitzkrieg terrain. The claim by Putin, that he could take Kiev in days, is ludicrous. Never mind the claim of five capitals! Even Hitler never made such a dumb statement!

The Russian Bear is no more, I’m more concerned about Russia’s rising Muslim population than I am about Putin and his weak-ass army. Even without the US, Western NATO states have more than enough force to create a “Highway of Death” for the Ruskies.

I think it was just intimidation tactics from Putin - pretending he is insane.

lol, perhaps. but I think Putin is failing in that regard. If he really wants people to think he is insane, then he should say that he will have troops on Mars within days!

Hopefully the Poles cut them up, as the Finns did just prior to WWII.

Russians in London? they could just take the airport and fly in the troops. The British could do nothing to stop them. They could just say they are all Islamic and the Brits would accept them with open arms.

The Poles are not to be f’ed with. Germany can take the southern flank after they mobilize out of their daycares and beer halls.

The Russkies recently deliberately violated Sweden's airspace right around the same time they were having some meeting about Ukraine in that country. In Estonia, the Russkies entered into Estonian territory and kidnapped a security officer, whom they are now going to put on to a show trial and sentence for 20 years for violating Russian territory. Sometime today, the Russkies went into international water and boarded 2 Lithuanian fishing boats and is accusing them of being in Russian waters.

This sounds to me like his actions are sending a similar kind of threat as these words.

As for Russkie troops, they are indeed in Ukraine.

All of the analysis on this thread seems to ignore Russian nuclear weapons. It is no longer armies that determine the victory, but rockets, subversion of all kinds, and terrorism.

The nuclear arsenal of civilized nations is nothing but window dressing, because NO civilized nation want to be the first to drop a bomb. Its like a Mexican Standoff, the first to fire loses! So if wars remain conventional, then nukes wont matter, and Russia’s conventional military capability is garbage. Do you have any examples of decisive victories with nothing but rockets, subversion, and terrorism?

The key word is "civilized." The Russians, Chinese, and their allies in countries like Iran and North Korea, do not blush at mass murder, so long as they can get away with it. Hence why Russian defectors have warned of Russian preparations for world war 3 involving the use of "false flag" terrorist strikes against the United States:

" I asked a former Russian intelligence official how Moscow might successfully pull off a surprise nuclear attack against the United States without suffering a devastating retaliation. He replied without hesitation, saying: "If you ever hear that Arab terrorists have attacked an American city with nuclear weapons don't believe it." The attack, he said, would be from Russia."

Iran is run by Islamic fanatics seeking to bring about the Apocalypse, which is why I DO NOT include them in the civilized nation list. North Korea might go nuclear, but it all hinges on Kim’s heir. Meanwhile, I am confident that China and Russia aren’t that stupid, because if they launch first it will be open season on them. Which is why I say that the MAD doctrine no longer applies, because nukes can only be used selectively if at all. At any rate, it would better serve China’s interest to take over Russia rather than America. Russia has a quickly declining population and a lot of land with a lot of resources. Meanwhile, China has millions of screaming male virgins who are very interested in Russian brides.

On the subject of key assets, the US and NATO control GPS. Good luck to Russia and China guiding munitions without it.

And they are armed by Russia and are even receiving aid, both political and physical, for their nuclear program. And yet you would fail to exclude Russia, a country where people are still beaten, tortured and murdered by the state, from the civilized nation list?

Meanwhile, I am confident that China and Russia aren’t that stupid

Why? Both nations are unrepentant mass murderers. Even in Russia, Gulag guards responsible for the brutal murder of thousands upon thousands of people are still protected from extradition by the regime and are honored as "veterans" of the great patriotic war. The regime in the Kremlin is even working on rehabilitating Joseph Stalin as a patriotic hero of the nation.

At any rate, it would better serve China’s interest to take over Russia rather than America.

And yet China is preparing for war not against Russia, but against the United States, who are still depicted in their state run media as the world's bad guy.

On the subject of key assets, the US and NATO control GPS. Good luck to Russia and China guiding munitions without it.

If I remember correctly, the Russkies have been developing, or already have developed, their own version, along with modernizing their nuclear forces. Not only that, but Russia is actively subverting the right wing in our country. Members of Ron Paul's Peace Foundation, for example, were members of shady Pro-Soviet "human rights" groups, likely FSB/KGB constructs. And now they pose as Libertarians who call for isolationism and blame the United States for all the world's woes.

Why would Russia be running a covert information war against this country and the rest of the West if it did not have hostile intentions?

The Russians could do what Putin boasts. However they would not be able to sustain such troops for more than a week.

DEMOCRATS BETRAYING THEIR COUNTRY... nothing new...History repeats itself.

Kerry defamed our soldiers and collaborated with the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.

Ted Kennedy offered his services to the KGB during Reagan presidency.

KGB Letter Details Kennedy Offer To USSR

http://archive.frontpagemag.com/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=1039

This letter which details Senator Edward Kennedy’s offer to help the Soviet Union defeat Reagan’s efforts to build up the nuclear deterrent in Europe was unearthed by a Times of London reporter in the 1990s after the KGB files were opened.

It got little or no attention, however, until the publication of Paul Kengor’s book “The Crusader – Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism.”

But even then the actual text of the letter (which is in the book’s appendix pp 317-320) has gotten short shrift.

OBAMA’S MESSAGE TO PUTIN DURING HIS REELECTION CAMPAIGN.
Putin is taking advantage of Obama’s weakness.

Remember Obama’s message to Putin to wait after his reelection when he will be more pliable to Putin’s wishes.
Moscow troops could be in five NATO capitals in two days, boasts Putin taking for granted that Obama will not dare to confront him.

Shockwaves reverberated through Eastern Europe tonight after Vladimir Putin boasted he could invade five NATO capitals inside two days. This came amid new reports that almost 4,000 Russia troops are massing in Crimea close to Ukraine’s mainland. ‘If I wanted, Russian troops could not only be in Kiev in two days, but in Riga, Vilnius, Tallinn, Warsaw or Bucharest, too,’ Putin was quoted as threatening, according to Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko. All are former USSR or Soviet-bloc cities and apart from Ukraine their countries are now NATO and EU members.

“And they are armed by Russia and are even receiving aid, both political and physical, for their nuclear program. And yet you would fail to exclude Russia, a country where people are still beaten, tortured and murdered by the state, from the civilized nation list?”

Let me clarify, the Russian government is not civilized but the people are. Unlike their Iranian proxies, Russian oligarchs have an interest in living so that they can enjoy their earthly life. Meanwhile, the Iranian government is obsessed with the afterlife.

“Why? Both nations are unrepentant mass murderers...”

Killing your own population, and starting a nuclear war with another nation are two different things. Governments can kill their own people without much world response, but dropping the A-bomb? That changes everything. In this unlikely event, Russia and China would quickly be annihilated. If they conduct wars with conventional weapons, they might avoid this destruction.

“And yet China is preparing for war not against Russia, but against the United States, who are still depicted in their state run media as the world’s bad guy.”

Its a ruse, why would China want to go to war with the US when we are separated by the Pacific? Meanwhile, Russia is collapsing right next door, so China stands to benefit from taking Russia’s stuff rather than screw around with NATO. After all of Putin’s tyranny, I doubt the international community would do much to stop China. A good thief goes for the easiest target with the best loot, and that is Russia.

“If I remember correctly, the Russkies have been developing, or already have developed, their own version, along with modernizing their nuclear forces.”

If I recall correctly, their system far from complete. During the Russo-Georgian War, we shut down Russian access to GPS which denied their flyboys the ability to use smart bombs. Again, I’m not concerned about Russian nukes, the leaders want to live.

“Not only that, but Russia is actively subverting the right wing in our country. Members of Ron Paul’s Peace Foundation, for example, were members of shady Pro-Soviet “human rights” groups, likely FSB/KGB constructs. And now they pose as Libertarians who call for isolationism and blame the United States for all the world’s woes.”

So? I agree Ron Paul is an ass-clown, but the Russians are not as smart as they think they are. Remember the illegals program a few years ago?

“Why would Russia be running a covert information war against this country and the rest of the West if it did not have hostile intentions?”

Hostile intentions and the ability to cause harm are two different things. Watching Putin trying to conquer the world is like watching Wile E Coyote cartoons.

Its a ruse, why would China want to go to war with the US when we are separated by the Pacific?

Because Communism is a death cult that seeks world domination and mass murder of their "class enemies." What is a ruse has been Perestroika and capitalization in these countries. Lenin himself, in his New Economic Policy, reversed communism temporarily in order to industralize Russia, using disinformation in order to attract western money and technology to do so.

These are totalitarian regimes which put out the sort of anti-American propaganda that supports genocide against our people. The day they feel they can kill us off without suffering a devastating retaliatory strike, or can do it while denying responsibility, they will do it.

Back in the good old days of the 60s and 70s, the estimated rate of Russian advance through the Fulda Gap in Germany was 72 hours to the English Channel, despite the use of tactical nuclear weapons on both sides. Goes to show how far the Russian mil has shrunk and slowed down ...
