Interesting that fair skin came from the Middle East while blue eyes came from original "indigenous" Europeans. I wonder if the Basques, who supposedly have a pre-Indo-European language that predates later arrivals in Europe, are genetically closest to the original Europeans before interbreeding with Middle Eastern (and apparently Siberian) people? If true, you'd expect them to be mostly swarthy but blue-eyed!

Contributed... kinda like Islam contributed to the demise of those Arab peoples who had knowledge of reading, astrology, mathematics and science. And then we have "interbreeding"... and genetic yet indigenous... from both far and away....

Therefore, we or at least some of us most discern that intelligence lies in the mind of the beholder.

My 100% Basque Grandfather was swarthy but had hazel eyes.
