First Lady Michelle Obama visited sick children at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where she complained about living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and being married to the president of the United States. She made the comments in response to being asked about her "favorite part about being in the White House."
"About being in the -- about being First Lady is being able to do stuff like this, really. And it is so special for me to get to meet kids like you guys," Michelle Obama started.
"Because sometimes living in the White House and being married to the President and trying to live a life like that, it can be hard. But when I meet you guys, I am so inspired, which is one of the reasons why I like to come and spend time with you guys. You all are smart, and youre focused, and youre just so courageous. And its just fun to be able -- I could be here all day with you, if you havent noticed."
The crowd of sick kids and parents laughed. So the first lady continued: "So this is a cool part. But living in the White House, actually living in the White House, whats the best part? The best part is -- I like the South Lawn, I like the Truman Balcony -- I was telling Austin that, that thats one of my favorite places to be, because we can be outside and you can look over the fountain, and you see the Washington Memorial, and its a really pretty view. And its peaceful."
The comments were part of a 26-minute question and answer session Obama held with the kids.
Looks like it’s time for another tax payer funded vacation for the poor dear.
Word is that she sought a divorce after he lost his first election after they were married. I can't remember what office he was seeking. However, she had to be enticed back with some sort of promise. I think that she was promised the perks of being first lady. so, it is possible that all her vacays are "her due" for being First Beard.
When I was fresh out of high school I worked as a nurse’s aid on a pediatric ward full time as I went to college part time. I took care of many kids with cancer, heart problems etc. We would take care of them before they went on to another facility. I gotta tell you that little kids who are facing death square in the face learn wisdom that most people never learn in their entire lifetime. I would like to know what some of these kids really thought of her as she was bloviating about her “hard” life.
she gets hard?
yikes !!
“this woman”, hmmm???
Don’t you know the “tranny” is Michael, NOT mooooschelle!!!
Thank you for all that you have done. My daughter is presently studying to be a nurse.
I think kids know when they are being lied to much more than we adults realize.
Its called the Washington Monument, not the Washington Memorial, Mrs. Obama......
What an asshole...a fourth grader knows about the Washington monument, but not this “Princeton Educated” afirmative action moron.
Is “HE” playing with Slick Willy??? I don’t think slick does men =Tranny!!!
What a selfish, thankless wee-otch.
“About being in the — about being First Lady is being able to do stuff like this, really. And it is so special for me to get to meet kids like you guys,” Michelle Obama started.
Meet kids like you guys??!! Seriously? Way to make them feel “special”.
Get out, then. Get your sorry, selfish out of our House. And, take your moochin mom with you.
Agree. Affirmative action education on full display, with the Mooch here.
Consider yourself lucky, b!tch, the rest of us are getting screwed by the bastard.
Yes, my dear, the peasants are revolting!
I seriously doubt “It’s hard” for Michelle.
That’s a lot of “I” s. It’s all about her. Not one word about the brave children facing cancer and death.
Don’t worry ,your 15 minutes is almost up
There we go ! LOL!!!!!
I’m sure being the first lady is hard. But stating so in front of a bunch of cancer stricken kids and their parents is classless. There’s no comparison to having the press call you fat and having a kid with cancer. Her kids are healthy, she needs to shut the hell up about her life’s little trials.
