Krauthammer: "Obama Clearly A Narcissist," "Lives In A Cocoon Surrounded By Sycophants"
CK: Oh, youre not young enough. Actually, I probably got it second-hand, for all I know. But thats a real abuse. Psychiatrists, doctors and others who use their science, or even the global warming folks, you know, you have your expertise, and some people just use it to try to bludgeon other people with their authority. So I decided when I left psychiatry never to use my authority. But let me just say as a layman, without invoking any expertise, Obama is clearly a narcissist in the non-scientific use of the word. He is so self-involved, you see it from his rise. Heres a man who says I dont to theater, you know, I dont do that. Well, his whole run in 2008 was theater, including the Roman, the Greek columns that he had around him at his speech at the convention in Denver. So I think hes extremely self-involved. He sees himself in very world historical terms, which means A) because hes an amateur, he doesnt know very much, and B) because hes a narcissist, he doesnt listen.

Obama claims to be at war with ISIS. Does anyone believe that he will transform himself into a wartime commander or maintain interest in this “war”?
Interested only until next tee time. Or Hearts with Reggie. Whatever comes first.
You just noticed, Charles?
“What kind of sycophant are you, anyway?”
“What kind of sycophant would you LIKE me to be? “
Oh now you’re gunning for something?
Good for you.
Obummer is a POS in every respect. Narcissist ultimate.
Duh
Malignant Narcissist:
Social psychologist Erich Fromm first coined the term “malignant narcissism” in 1964, describing it as a “severe mental sickness” representing “the quintessence of evil”. He characterized the condition as “the most severe pathology and the root of the most vicious destructiveness and inhumanity”.[4] Edith Weigert (1967) saw malignant narcissism as a “regressive escape from frustration by distortion and denial of reality”; while Herbert Rosenfeld (1971) described it as “a disturbing form of narcissistic personality where grandiosity is built around aggression and the destructive aspects of the self become idealized”.[5]

....” Does anyone believe that he will transform himself into a wartime commander or maintain interest in this war?.....
Well he certainly believes he’s acting as Commander In Chief....but it will always be in his own self-centered interest, not in what actually needs to be done or is...or for that matter what’s best for this nation.
Obama’s sole purpose is feeding his own ego...he rows his own canoe in a fleet of able bodied military might he hasn’t a clue what to do with to fight a war.
Besides...he really doesn’t see any of these conflicts as war...”terrorists” one and all.
Gee, think I said that before he was elected the first time! NARCISSIST!
He was being asked to comment on Obama’s state of mind, hence he did. No indication he just now noticed.

BINGO.
Genocides usually follow such Malignant Narcissists who become leaders of nations and tribes. Starting with their own people first.
Yeah. Like most of us need a psychiatrist to tell us this? Welcome to the party pal...
I haven't been able to find any FNC video from 4Q2008 to support what I very clearly remember seeing/hearing, but Charles Krauthammer showed enthusiasm for BHO's candidacy and said he thought he would make a good POTUS. Ever since I have held CK at arm's length no matter how good his latest sound bites are.
BTTT
I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here. For a brief moment, and I mean brief, all of us after the election had the idea that maybe we did elect someone who would change things for the good in the world, who would unite everyone. A Jackie Robinson for example. It took a couple weeks for all of us to shake our heads and realize that we would have to endure every single day a president who was an amateur and a narcissist. Charles, I’m sure, was as optimistic at first, and briefly. He was NEVER a Peggy Noonan who swooned over the guy, and who was totally taken in.
No, Charles K. understands the man more than you know, and he cracks me up every night.
“Im not sure what youre trying to say here. For a brief moment, and I mean brief, all of us after the election had the idea that maybe we did elect someone who would change things for the good in the world, who would unite everyone.”
No, not all of us, speak for yourself.
