He certainly doesn’t look American. At. Least Muslim.
I can’t forget Gov Jindal’s almost comical SOTU response in ‘09. He sounded like Mr Rogers :( It’s too bad, because his story is a great one.....

What? Tried watching that show once after all of the hubbub. Too stupid for me, so I quit about 3 minutes in.
Bobby Jindal would be another great candidate..
Muslim? Based on what?
He looks like someone who would be one.
If anything, he looks more like a Hindi than a Muslim (Of course, he’s neither).
He certainly someone I’d support over Romney/Huckabee/Paul/Jeb/Cristy Creme/Ryan.
Careful though, some freepers really hate his guts, probably for racial reasons (I suspect these people are old southern democrats that don’t really support the GOP), they say it’s cause he’s a “RINO”, yet they always make racist comments about him. Some jerk called him a “Pakistani Anchor Baby” and they usually call him by his Indian first name, which he doesn’t go by.
They used his first name for a campaign slogan, “Piyush’in for Bobby !” It’s funny he took his name from watching “The Brady Bunch” reruns. Strange that he chose “Bobby” instead of “Peter”, which would make more sense.
He’s a convert from Hindu, as is Gov. Nikki Haley.
Why is that? (I remember little from what I've seen of the Brady Bunch). Is his personality more like Peter's?
If you wanted to Americanize your name, would not “Peter” sound closer to “Piyush” than “Bobby” ? I wasn’t talking personalities.
Well, they start with the same letter, so there’s that. But it’s hardly a neat transition like Barack to “Barry”.
I guess he just liked the sound of “Bobby”.
I certainly don’t blame him for wanting an American first name.
Gov. Nikki Haley “Americanized” hers, too. Her first name is Nimrata (full name Nimrata Kaur Randhawa).
Punjabi for “Humility”, according to Wikipedia.
Piyush, somehow relates to the name “Amrit” which means “immortal” and refers to the drink of the Hindu Gods, making it their equivalent of Greek mythology’s “nectar” (which itself is a name fit for a stripper). It’s also the name of some milk/yogurt concoction, that must be the connection to the fictional magical substance.
So I guess he could have changed his name to Ovaltine.
The Jindals obviously had high hopes for their son. ;-D
Decide now, don’t run, thank you very much
He turned down the Obama-care medicaid $$$, that took some guts.
I don't have an strong opinion one way or the other, but he's obviously more experienced at running things and getting things done than Rand Paul is, Rand has zero experience. Rand's on the 'young and hip' compassion trip.
