NASA will make a major announcement today at 4 p.m. EDT regarding the return of human spaceflight launches to the United States. Whoever is chosen will have the goal to achieve certification of the system – including a test flight to the International Space Station with a NASA astronaut -- in 2017, returning a critical capability to America and greatly expanding the scientific research potential of the orbiting laboratory.

I am sooo excited about this return to space, both the LEO CCP and the BEO Exploration Systems Development. Despite all of the politically correct BS, NASA is still working towards re-establishing and expanding America's role in future exploration, and the technology is cutting-edge American know-how. Global warming fanatics and muzzies need not apply.

I hope the Boeing CST-100 is chosen as the CCP solution, although if you listen to the SpaceX droolers the Dragon will get the nod.

I find it a horrible decision. Can we wait until we stop spending a trillion dollars a year over budget? Oh I am sorry, I hear that we only spent about a half a trillion (off debt) this year and the media was screaming “great news”. I mean I guess soon we will have 50 trillion in debt, but who cares? I suppose. We all have our pet projects and as long as they continue.....heck with debt!

Promise to make Moon, Mars, habitable Jupiter moons, etc., into 57th states of the US, and also Palestinian homeland.
