The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence will sue the online gun dealers who sold weapons to Aurora Theater shooter James Holmes, according to a a local news report.
The lawsuit alleges that the websites negligently supplied Holmes with the arsenal he used to kill 12 people and wound at least 58 others by failing to use any screening mechanism to determine his identity or intent for the products, the Brady Center said in a press release.

I’ll bet the Brady Bunch have probably already investigated the ammo dealer to see if he can afford a defense, or they would not have launched such a lawsuit.
If only we had a decent DOJ that would go after corrupt organizations under RICO.
I’m tired of harassment from groups like the Brady campaign.
I assume they’ll find at least one victim family to play along. Or maybe they get special rules since its for the children or something.
Please allow me to add a fourth.
Fourth, what damage/injury was caused to the Brady Center?
Gwjack
If they want to know if I purchased ammo from any particular company, all they gotta do is ask me.
After I tell them to kiss my ass, I might tell them.
And if the company releases my name under subpoena, then I'll come forward and confirm that.
But, alas, that boating accident...doncha know...terrible thing.
But all that aside, if my name gets released under subpoena for the legal act of purchasing ammo, then I will gladly launch a law suit to discover just where the Brady bunch purchased the child porn that they have on their computers.
I don't know if they have any or not, but it's just as damned relevant as they knowing if I purchased ammo.
To hell with them.
Ambulance chasing lawyers. Figures.
....and just what is their ‘standing’ in this lawsuit?..................
I guess they’re doing it for the children. I don’t know. Maybe a relative contacted them or something. It’s crazy crap.
Tire maker? Anti-freeze maker? Spark plug maker? Yup. It’s gotten that absurd. Who’s boots/shoes/sandals was he wearing? Did he have on Hanes undies?
Shoulda been whose not who’s.
Harrassment, plain and simple.
The reach of Liberals is endless.
Will they also sue the cement company for providing the material for the pool?
How about suing the sun for lighting up the pool with daylight??
How about suing the UPS or Fed Ex driver that delivered the ammo??
How about suing the paper company that made the envelope or packaging involved???
How about suing the ink company that provided the ribbon to print the delivery label??
The Liberals of the world are truly disturbed people.
The coming shooting war will erase many of them.
Hasn’t this “extended liability” gambit been tried and failed several times before? Not that THAT would stop a liberal ...
Like suing the manufacturer of the hammer you used to bang your finger. Then sue Lowes or Home Depot for selling it.”””
And sue Stanley for manufacturing it.
Sue the timber company for growing the wood.
Sue the wood mill for processing it.
Sue the truck company that transported the wood.
Sue the Chain saw company for their part in cutting down the tree.
Sue the lumberjack for cutting the trees.
Sue the steel company for making the hammer head.....
And On & On & On....
Liberals just cannot stand to let anyone have responsibility for their own actions.
When the shooting war comes, there will be far less Liberals when it is over.
That is correct. But the lawyers who made billions off the tobacco lawsuit settlement first lobbied state legislatures to overturn centuries of common law precedent, with essentially this pitch:
Change the law to make the Tobacco company lawsuits possible, and we will give you a cut of the proceeds.
Then the tobacco companies were brought in, and everyone agreed to take the money from smokers and split the proceeds.

Yes. Personal responsibility has died in Amerika.
The barber that cut his hair? THAT might have "standing..."
